Morning and happy FRIDAY, ladies! I am super excited we are almost at the weekend because Pinky needs some rest after my wonderfully busy weekend down in Orlando [if you haven't read the recap about my BLATE, check it out here]. Unfortunately, rest will have to wait until Sunday because my Saturday already consists of a family 5K, brunch, hair cut and then dinner with a friend in DC. WOOF! Right now Sunday looks pretty chill so I'm looking forward to finally resting up and getting everything organized at home. Okay, moving on to favorites this week.

Favorite video of the week: Meghan introduced me to Amber two weeks ago and her hairstyle videos are incredible. I gave this one a whirl and even though my hair is much shorter than Amber's it turned out pretty cute in my opinion.


 Favorite picture of the week: As you know, we were down in Orlando for kickball championship weekend and even though my body is exhausted from all the fun it was a wonderful time with my family. I always enjoy competing with them and enjoy the down time even more. During a disagreement about a call in our last women's game, we decided to entertain ourselves instead of worrying about the discussion.     Yay I am so happy you liked Amber's videos! Its funny that you mentioned it today, because just yesterday I pestered my roommate into letting me practice braids on her hair since it is super long and fun to play with haha! Your Saturday looks so busy, but its nice that you have a chill Sunday planned so that you can recover. I hope you have a great weekend!

    I will have to check out that post on smartphones. My husband's broke halfway through his trip in China and then he was without one for a week afterwards. When I asked him why he was holding out on getting a new one, he replied that it was oddly liberating without it. That he was so much more productive. And hey, if you can live without it while halfway around the world for a week you don't need it as much as you think you do. I worry always that my kids see me on it all the time.
