… I am so over the Ferguson protests and Facebook posts. And I'm so over worrying that my opinion might offend someone. I've been trying to stay off of Facebook, because the crap people post makes me incensed and one day I'm scared I'm going to go off. #ifyoucantsaysomethingnicehush
… So many of you responded to my 'STOP SLOUCHING' point yesterday, that I caught myself slouching mulitple times during the day. Don't you wish posture was taught in school, as it was back in the Downton Abbey days? Those ladies look so regal sitting and walking, so I'm going to try, try, try to remember to keep a straight back whilst at the computer and walking to and fro. Join me, won't you? #operationstopslouching #downtonabbeyelegance

… I am a gobzillion kinds of excited to head of to Dallas tomorrow morning, to see my BOFF. You know I normally don't advertise when I'm going out of town, but I can't help myself from shouting 'I'm LEAVING' here on the blog. It will be so wonderful to see her, hug her, talk to lil bambina in her belly and stand beside her as she marries her Mister Right. I promise to bring back photos, as long as I'm allowed to share them here ;)!
… On that note, if you had told me three years ago, that I would be flying to another state to watch a friend I met from blogging get married I would have called you crazy. Not in a rude way, but in a 'how could I know someone so well, from blogging' way. But, it makes 100% sense to me, and to probably most of you reading, doesn't it? The friendships formed throughout blogland continue to astound me and I'm so thankful for all of the friends I've met and all the relationships that have blossomed because of this lil space.
Have a fabulous weekend, lovely ladies!!!! < 3
Linking up with *Annie*!!!
EEEK have so much fun this weekend - which you will!! :) P.S. Popcorn and M&Ms our nightly snack too LOL!
ReplyDeleteHave a great trip! I used to like in Rockwall, just east of Dallas, and met some of my best friends ever. I love he lone star state!
ReplyDeleteAs for slouching... Guilty.
Have an amazing trip! And now you just reminded me that Downton is returning next month I could not be more excited :-D
ReplyDeleteI'm SO happy you're going to be there with Lynn on her big day! Give her a big ol' hug for me, please!!! And if you think about it/can, I'd love to see some pictures of the beautiful bride!:) You can text them to me and I will keep them all to myself - no posting on social media for me:) So excited for her, and just wish I could be there!
ReplyDeleteOn another note, I am with you on the Ferguson protests. I understand that it is a very sensitive issue for people. However, I think the message was totally lost in the way that many people handled the response to the decision. Like it or not, the jury was charged with making the decision based on evidence, and they made the decision they thought was right. End of story! Some people just won't listen to fact.
That is so awesome you r flying to Dallas for a blogging friend...so crazy huh! And m&ms in popcorn....sound delic! I like to eat milk duds and popcorn haha
ReplyDeletevery nice pics

hope you have a great time at your friend's wedding!
ReplyDeletei definitely need to stop slouching. i'm the worst when there is no back to what i am sitting on, you know? like a bench. or when i'm standing.
Yesss...air popped popcorn is mine and the hubs' favorite, too. We always say that since it's air popped it's healthier, but then we add like a lb of butter so it's not as healthy as we think! haha
ReplyDeleteHave a FUN and safe trip...enjoy the wedding!
Totally agree on the whole Ferguson debacle. So over it!
ReplyDeleteI love air popped popcorn too, yum!
Enjoy your time this weekend, I'm sure it will be a blast!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty much just over FB in general, I think I might be taking a break from it soon!

ReplyDeleteThat's so exciting!! It's so amazing how blogging can connect people. Have a great time! I'm always correcting myself when it comes to slouching. I take voice lessons which helps because we always have to have proper posture while we sing! I just have to pretend that I'm on Broadway all day :)
