Roll out those Lazy, Hazy, Crazy Days of Suuummmmeeerrr

Morning, my loves! How are you doing today? I hope you had a fabulous weekend and are ready to rock out Monday like a champ. I'm feeling pretty great after a CHILL weekend at home. Finally, right? There were a few fun activities this weekend, but there were also naps and chill time, too.

This weekend I . . .

… attended restaurant week with Le Husband and one of our dear couple friends. We ate at Chima, which is a Brazil steakhouse, and the menu was amazing. They basically just bring meat skewers to your table and you say 'yes' or 'no' depending on your preference. I ate my weight in steak [nom nom the filet] and then savored the best key lime pie I've ever had in my life. It was a fabulous evening of food, fun and friends.

… came home and PASSED out after a lil too much wine ;)!

… woke up early and on the wrong side of the bed for kickball practice. Luckily it was a good practice and my mood improved greatly being around my teammates. We have a tourney next month and I'm excited for our chances.

… after practice I chilled out at the pool with Sportypice. It was fun hanging with the sissy and getting some extra sun.

… was unsuccessful getting rid of my crazy tan lines from Tennessee and practice. #50shadesoftan?

… made homemade pasta for dinner and it was ahhhh-mmaaaa-zzziiiiing!

… enjoyed the GORGEOUS weather with free tickets to the NATS game Saturday night [thanks Sportyspice]. Thankfully the NATS won and we witnessed three home runs, a DP and a fun lil bunt play. #ilovesports

Seriously, honey?!?!?
YAY, that's better!
… splurged on a delicious swirl and sprinkles cone. #myversionofadogandbeeratthepark

… woke up for church then met my friend and her daughter at the pool. The weather was amazing but the pool was a bit chilly due to the evening temperatures [sad face]. We all enjoyed pool time and tanning time and had a great time spending time together.

… splurged on another ice cream treat. #whyamIsosplurgey

… came home to these beautiful 'just because' flowers from Le Husband. #iloveflowersandhim

… took an amazing nap after the pool. #ilovecouchnaps

… fell in love with the beautiful color Amanda recommend on her blog [Chillato if you were wondering].

… prepped lunches for the week and cooked Cracklin chicken for dinner.

… played in an 11pm soccer game. #ugh #imsoold

How was your weekend?

Sounds like a great weekend! I sure do NOT have the 50 shades of tan problem. It is just pale, pale, pale!

I love steak...it really should be in it's own food group and homemade pasta! Your weekend looks delicious. And I love that nail polish, I haven't found too many nail polishes that go well with my ring color, but that one may.

What a good weekend! That steak house sounds amazingggg- reminds me of a restaurant in Disney where they bring all kinds of skewers to the table, steak, chicken, shrimp, etc! So fun! :) And key lime pie? Nom Nom, I haven't had that in forever!!!

STILL need to try your cracklin chicken, so thanks for the reminder :) Your homemade pasta looks insanely delicious. Best idea ever: the invention of those Brazilian steakhouses. Yes or no is really all you should have to be required to say when at a restaurant and stuffing your face anyways, right!?

We went to a Brazilian restaurant for our anniversary dinner a couple of years ago! It was really cool! The only thing we didn't like is that we had driven to downtown Detroit to go and were finished in about 45 mins. lol
Bahahahah... 50 shades of tan... awesome! I'd be glad to have any damn shade right now. I'm so pale. It's gross. There isn't even makeup pale enough to match me correctly. No joke. -_-
Fresh pasta?!?!?!?! Man. That sounds like HEAVEN.

Hi Pinky! I'm so very glad you linked up with us this week and it does look like you had a very nice weekend! Chima sounds much like a restaurant we've visited called Texas de' Brazil much the same in you have servers come around with skewers of meat and you have a circle on your table you turn over when your done. It's really a neat way to try different cuts of meat. I love the color nail polish and I so could do that if my nails were pretty :( They seem to grow in spurts. Looks like a fun night of baseball and I would by like you with the ice cream in #myversionofadogandbeeratthepark! :) Hope you have a great week and hope you'll join us again!

Sounds like the perfect weekend full of relaxation and you totally deserved it after these past few weeks! I could really use some pool time right now but the weather has rained non stop since June so that hasn't been an option and I am still sporting some horrible tan lines from my vacation over a month ago ugh.
Ice cream is my favourite treat and I always over indulge in said treat and I wonder why my waistline is expanding ha.
Loving the nail varnish colour! Where can I find it?
And you've got a keeper surprising you with flowers!

Okay that nail color is AMAZING! I need it in my life ASAP. Going to check it out! Also, I love your swim top-- so dang cute :)
