Anyway, I love me some Nashvegas. Seriously, Music City has become one of THE destination cities in recent years and for good reason in my opinion. There is so much to do, see, eat and drink in Nashville. Every time I visit I have a blast and I'm quite bummed I don't have many of my own pictures to share. You see, every time we've visited Nashville we've stayed with Le Husband's friends and therefore we are also balancing quality friend time with exploring the city time. Don't get me wrong, we've done some damage on the Nashville strip at Tootsie's, Acme Feed & Seed [SUCH a fun bar] and other bars, but we aren't in the city the entire time. I really want to take the time to explore the Grand Ol Opry, the museums and of course, hit up a Predator's game. #maybeillgettoseecarrieunderwoodtoo

Lobster BLT flatbread, lamb chops with purred cauliflower, homemade single chocolate meringue, homemade vanilla doughnuts and chocolate covered bacon. DIVINE! |
Our next visit is closely on the horizon, however it is extremely kickball heavy so I'm not sure how much of Nashville we are actually going to be able to see. But, for those of you who have been, what are your MUST DOs in Nashville? If you haven't been, is Nashville on your list?

ReplyDeleteI've never been to Nashville. When I went to TN, we stayed up in the mountains near an old town which was cute! I'd love to go though. Your food = holy amazingness! YUM!
ReplyDeleteMy one trip to Nashville was in passing on my way to PA with my mom for Thanksgiving several years ago.... we stayed at some hotel and that was about it. Sad times.
ReplyDeleteNashville is on my short list of US cities I need to see in the near future. A good music and food scene is really all you need. Urban Grub looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteI've only visited once and I fell in love! I so want to take my husband back and would love to take a girls trip with my oldest daughter. I have a friend from high school who lives there and she drove us out to Franklin which was such a fun little town. The drive was beautiful too.
ReplyDeleteWe're headed to Nashville later on this month and I seriously can't wait! Obviously, I know that the music is going to be great, but I've heard great things about the food too!
ReplyDeleteI love love love love Nashville. My hubby and I went for the first time in January for a concert and had a blast. We were only there for about 2 days... but it was great. I can't wait to go back someday. We loved ACME feed and seed too. I would love to do more of the touristy stuff when we go back, and keep exploring the food scene. Hot Chicken...yum. XO -Alexandra

I am so jealous, I have always wanted to visit Nashville but haven't gotten the chance yet. Maybe some day.
ReplyDeleteThat food looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteA couple of my girlfriends and I do Nashville every summer! This summer was the first year we had to miss in like 5! LOVE IT!!!
ReplyDeletelove this post girl! saving it for the one day we hopefully make it back. i've been twice - once for the CMA fest (tons of fun, don't remember where we ate or anything and didn't do much except for the CMA fest) and the second time things happened that cut our night out short so it was basically drive down there, get ready to go out, eat pizza, head out for 10 minutes, go back to the hotel and sleep, leave early morning lol. it's so close to us that i know we can get away for a long weekend, it's just a matter of choosing when (and also, probably a matter of not planning any other trips!) lol.
ReplyDeleteI've never been, and am hoping to get there in the next few years. Looks like such a fun city with amazing looking food! Relocating is not easy, but trust me it's so worth it ;-)
ReplyDeleteNashville is on my bucket list! I must get there!
ReplyDeleteI have been to Nashville a few times and love it!!! There are so many fun places to go. I loved walking down by the river. They had a booze cruise that they do at night that looks like SO MUCH FUN! I haven't been on it but Chris and I said next time we go we are doing it. I loved breakfast at Noshville, and I wish I could remember some of the other restaurants we ate at because they were fabulous! Burger Up and Baja Burrito (maybe??)were two of the places I for sure enjoyed. Driving by Vanderbilt was pretty.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE love love Nashville!! I've been twice so far and both times had the best experience! Acme was one of our favorite bars when we were there earlier this summer :) When you go back, you have to do the Bluebird Cafe if you haven't yet!
ReplyDeleteI've never truly been to Nashville. I stayed the night there once & drove through one other time. I'm possibly going in November but that all depends on basketball season. I would so love to go!
