Loving Lately {Fall Trends}

I'm not the trendiest person, shocking, I know. Quite often it takes me a bit to jump on trends because I don't want to spend money on something that will change in a few months. Slowly though, my trend bug has begun to grow and I've started to get more and more excited about seasonal trends as they happen. I jumped on the blanket scarf and fur vest bandwagon last year and LOVE wearing both of them. We are barely a month into fall and I'm currently trying to build my wardrobe with some key pieces [much to the chagrin of my wallet and Le Husband]. #trendalert #fashionfun

Thanks to the fabulous @pearlandmonroeboutique I snapped up my plaid piece for the season. #supportmygirljess

A chunky white sweater has been on my list since summer and I am loving all the cable knit details.

If there is ONE shoe item of the season it's lace up ballet flats. Originally I was on the fence because they remind me too much of gladiator sandals [don't even get me started on GS, so not my thing], but after seeing a quite a few posts in blog land they've grown on me. I can't decided between black/tan, thoughts?

Jess of the Newly is the one I blame this next trend on [hi sweet friend]. She blogged awhile ago about faux leather leggings and for this price I think I can give it a try. I can already see Le Husband's face when I put together an outfit with them [ insert eye rolling emojii here ] but I'm getting a bit old for this trend so it's now or never.

I love all things leopard and have worn my leopard infinity scarf so many times since I was gifted it two years ago. I don't know where my was purchased but found a similar one *here*.

Hats are fun and I've loved my cabana hat the past few years. Recently I've been itching to try the felt hat trend and thought this was a great one to test the waters without breaking the bank.

After Kristen posted about her new Gap sweater I couldn't get it out of my mind so it went in my shopping cart. My wardrobe is thankful, my wallet not so much, haha. Gapdotcom is running sale so the tunic sweater is now on sale, too! #bloggerstakingmymoney

What trends are you lusting after right now? Anything I'm missing?

Okay, so first of all - thank you for the shout out! Love you!:)

Second. You may think you are not the trendiest person around, but I officially want one of everything that you shared! I have seen that Romwe sweater in the past - that PRICE! amaze! - but have never had the guts to order it. Did you buy it? If so, I need to know how it looks in person immediately. If it is as good as pictured, I am buying that baby!!!

I love that oversized cream sweater! You can’t beat the price either!

I definitely love a good chunky sweater for the fall and winter, especially because you just feel so warm and cozy in them. I also love the idea of a leopard infinity scarf. It would just add a little something extra to outfits.

OMG that sweater -- I need it right now!! That is gorgeous! I'm also NOT at all into gladiator sandals, but the lace up flats have me swooning. Now to find a pair!! (And I say go with both colors, because hey, why not?!) ;) xo

I don't typically jump on trends right away either because it takes me time to not only get used to them but to actually like them. This is the first year I even gave a thought to ankle booties, and now I love them! Loving that chunky sweater, and yes to anything leopard <3

You know how I feel about the white sweater - must have! And I feel you on the leather leggings, I go back and forth on them, but for that price why not give 'em a try?!

Gladiator sandals aren't a thing for me either- I've just never understood them! Probably cause they'd look ridiculous on me!!!! Lol!

I've really been trying to evaluate my closet and keep the new pieces to a minimum. I really think I will want a few new sweaters but it is still muggy and 85 here in Texas..blah! I did finally pull out the lightweight poncho I bought during the anniversary sale today and oh my goodnesss I'm so in love! Oh...and fringe...fringe is the trend I love but am worried will be shortlived.

I love the chunky white sweater! I must say I'm with you, I don't often get on the trend bandgwagon... quick enough. I do love breaking out the fall sweaters though!

Oh yes, I get sucked in to all the trends! I've been a good girl this year though and haven't bought anything YET. I also love the leather leggings but I'm worried I cant pull them off. Plus what shoes do you wear? That sound weird, but I mean if you have leather shoes, and leather leggings....?? Also for the blanket scarf thing I found a great tutorial to DIY them for so much less money!

Omg how is that white sweater only $20?! I've very intrigued that it's only one, but for that price, I could wear it just around the house and it'd be worth it! That leopard scarf from Target is also such a great find and price.

The Romwe sweater - yes. yes. yes. I want that SO bad. Did you purchase it? If so, how is it?!?

Okay, Pearl and Monroe KILLS my budget! I have purchased four things from Jess and LOVE every. single. one. of them!

Your style is on point if you ask me!

I cant believe lace ballet flats are back - I wore those in high school! & my 25 yr reunion is next week. THings really do come back again.

That sweater is too cute! And I know, Jess has the best eye! No wonder Pearl & Monroe is taking off! I am the same way about trends. At first, I am like, hmm...and then I see all the other bloggers looking amazing and I think, well, maybe I should try it out. I remember when Uggs first hit the scene, and I was like oh those are ugly! Now, totally addicted...I had the same thought as you about the lace up ballet slippers--totally look like gladiators!
