First Festive Friday

Morning, loves! Happy, happy Friday to you all. I was up extra early this morning, 4:30am early, as my sissys and I were volunteering at our church for project Hypothermia. Every year, our church opens it's doors to this program and we house homeless for a week. It has become a Christmas time tradition for Babyspice, Sportyspice and myself to assist one morning shift and even though it's an early morning, it truly is a gratifying one too. #ilovemissionwork

Before we get to favors, who here is excited about the Pantone color of 2016? I personally find the mix of Rose Quartz and Serenity a beautiful contrast to the 2015 color of Marsala.  I can't wait to see all the beautifully romantic pieces designers bring out next year. Am I the only one? Oh, okay, moving on to favorites.

Favorite TV Moment of the Week: As you know, we are Peanuts people. We both grew up watching the movies and we also collect Everhart paintings. So, you know we'd check out the ABC special celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Charlie Brown Christmas Movie. I loved Kristen Bell as host and learned so many fun tidbits about the movie and the music. If you can find it On Demand you should definitely check it out. #peanutsforever #cooljoeandbirdie #linusandlucy
Happy 50th Charlie Brown

Favorite Recipe of the Week: For some reason, Christmas brings out the baker in me. I love to bake year round, but the Betty Crocker comes out every December and I'm constantly looking for a new recipe to try. I found this one earlier in the week and can't WAIT to give it a whirl. Fingers crossed I can find time this weekend and that I don't eat the whole thing upon completion :)! #ilovechristmasbars #gimmeallthechocolate #lookseasyenoughright

Favorite Quote of the Week: #nomorewordsneeded #betheencourager

Favorite Christmas Pin of the Week: Can I have one of these in my house, please? #haveneoughbottles

Favorite Funnies of the Week: Enjoy the giggles, I laughed a lot this week.

the tupperware horror!! i had to totally revamp my tupperware drawer and tossed out a bunch of randoms that didn't belong anywhere. thankfully the organization has been in full effect for nearly a year and it's a relief to open the drawer and not have a million lids fall out!

Our church does the same thing in January--I know it doesn't actually solve anything, but we've got to at least do something to help them out during the winter!
