Anyway, moving on to our weekend.
This weekend I…
… came home quickly from work. prepped some delicious appetizers [bacon wrapped dates with manchego cheese] then hopped in the car to attend my kickball team's Christmas party.
… won 'Most Likely to Get on Base' #hollaataballa
… had more fun than expect and somehow was talked into dancing to *NSYNC for the talent show.
… devoured this delicious cookie in our goodie bag. #sodelicousandpretty
THE REMIX! |
… woke up nice and early to get ready for Wreaths Across America in Arlington Cemetery. This was our second year laying wreaths and it was a GORGEOUSLY warm and beautiful day which made it that much better.
Shout out to the Medal of Honor recipient. |
Thank you! |
… came home went to the gym, grabbed lunch to eat at home and watched the beginning of the Army/Navy game. One day soon I hope Army will be the team singing second, but it was not so this weekend.
The Walk On was incredibly moving as always. |
… prepped and prepared some festive holiday caramel corn for a holiday engagement party.
My new favorite hostess gift. |
… caught up with old friends and celebrated a marriage to be. It was fun but hard at the same time because we are both in such different places than expected at this time. #lifekeepsmovingon
… waved to Santa as he passed by the house on his sleigh of a fire truck.
… stayed much later than expected, came home and at a very late dinner before watching an incredibly interesting 30 for 30 on the Buffalo Bills. #ilovelearningnewsportsinfo #iwillnowcheerforthebills.
… woke up late because my body was not happy with back to back late nights.
… felt off all morning. Tried to shake it off with cleaning and meal prep which didn't really work.
… shopped for food, prepped lunches, ate dinner and watch my Cowboys. #istheseasonoveryet?
How was your weekend?

Today I'm also linking up for our Christmas Card reveal. Y'all read about the lil debacle last week, but I have to say, besides that I'm quite pleased with how they turned out. I went with Paper Culture this year because I found a 50% voucher and LOVE the fact they plant a new tree for every order. How cool is that?
Anyway, this year I wanted use pictures describing 2015 and the Christmas season. I loved our picture in front of the tree in Cincinnati last year and thought it looked great with the red on the front. On the back I wanted to bring in one of our favorite past times, hiking, and also celebrate the big trip to Dallas for the 2015 National Championship [GO BUCKS]!
We signed our names in the top right corner to balance the card. And yes, I had Le Husband sign his own name :)!
Wow sounds like you had a busy weekend friend! How cool and humbling is it that you get to lay wreaths at the Arlington Cemetery?! And it being a gorgeous day makes it even better! Oh and I totally want that cookie for breakfast. Happy Monday! <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes
