Guest Post: Miss Cami

Hello pretties how are you?!?! Today I am super stoked to have Miss Cami from First Day of My Life guest posting. Cami is the TRUE definition of a sweetheart. I randomly found her blog a few months ago and I LOVE her Thankful Thursday series. She writes with such a heartfelt charm and wit, and really is one of the nicest bloggers out there. Not to mention super pretty too :)!

Hello! I'm Cami from First Day of My Life. First off, I am so honored & excited that the lovely Miss Pinky let me have some time with you today! I hope she is having a wonderful vacation...she works so hard - she deserves it! Seconds off, I'm going to talk to you about what it's like to live on a Florida beach in the summer!

I moved to the beach last November. It wasn't until this summer when I realized how truly spoiled I am! It all started when I wanted to go on a cruise for vacation. Well, right smack dab in the middle of my vacation I had a very important meeting I had to go to. So, I tried to improvise and plan a trip to another beach.

I quickly realized that any of the hotels or resorts I tried to book was further away from the ocean than where I live. I see the beautiful ocean from my window and currently hear it as I type this. Most of the hotels seemed so far away!

Then the question came up - should I spend money to stay a couple of nights in a resort that is further away than I live? The answer took some deliberation and the principle of spending money came up - I quickly decided no.

Why would I spend $200 a night when I can do the following on a daily basis...

See beautiful sunrises...



Play in the sand & write love notes...



Relax & gaze at the clouds...

Have a beautiful view when we get locked out of our home...(oops...!)

End the day with a gorgeous sunset!
