Oh No You DIIIIIIIIIIIIIDN'T!

[source]
#blogtober pet peeves…aka things I confess with kathy that make me crazy…

[+] Talking the talk, but not walking the walk.

[+] People not writing thank you notes for gifts, especially wedding related.

[+] When the microwave button hasn't been cleared. How hard is it to press clear?

[+] Slurps and gulps while eating. NAILS.ON.A.CHALKBOARD

[+] Women failing to close the locker doors in the changing room at the gym. Were you born in a barn?

[+] Dishes in the sink when the dishwasher is dirty.

[+] Being late or being made to wait.

[+] Hypocrites…basically those that FLIP out about something they do to others, all the time. #youlooksilly

[+] Gum smacking.

[+] Being intentionally hung up on…just don't do it.

[+] Constant neediness. I can't pump you up all the time, you gotta take care of yourself.

[+] Lack of personal space when I'm out in a crowd. This is why I don't go to crowded bars anymore.

[+] Micromanaging.

[+] Constant complainers that don't do anything to change their situation. TAKE ACTION or hush!

What are some of your pet peeves?!?

  1. I still have yet to get a thank you for a gift from a wedding a year ago!! Oh and my biggest pet peeve - going to a wedding and not even bringing a card....let alone a gift!!

People at my job never clear the microwave - drives me bonkers LOL!

  2. Slurps and gulping while eating is definitely one of my big ones!

  4. Is it bad that I'm totally laughing at some of these!! I can relate through my own pet peeve's, or through Eric's!
I never realized how annoying it is when someone doesn't clear the microwave, but now that you say it, that drives me crazy as well! I ALWAYS clear it!
Eric literally wears ear plugs to the movies or else he goes crazy with everyone's chomping and slurping, HA!

  5. Ahhh!! Yes to all of these!!! And I laughed out loud at the baby picture in the beginning. So perfect!! So many of my friends are the complainers that do nothing to change the situation. Drives me nuts!! I can't keep giving you advice on the same exact situation if you never decide to take it! LOL

  8. Being late drives me batty. I go crazy when my staff is late. I don't ask for much from them but being on time is one of them. Being late for anything is unacceptable to me. I think it's very disrespectful.

  14. Arrrgh the microwave button! My coworkers used to do that to me on purpose.

I think I'm a slurper. My dad actually called me out once when I was a teenager and now I'm super self-conscious about it, but can't stop.

DISHES!!! LATENESS/WAITING! OBNOXIOUS GUM CHEWING! NEEDINESS! ALL /RAGE!!!

  21. OMG...all of these are so annoying. I have a recent one. My boss has taken up "humming"...it's the WORST. It's not even like he's humming a song or anything..it's just random noises!! YUCK!

  22. Lol. I agree with most of these. I would add putting anything on our bed that has touched the floor of a gym or an airport.

  23. Haha the time left on the microwave kills me. And also lets me know my husband was eating nachos late-night when I went to bed #busted

  25. Haha, the microwave one! That is really annoying:) I also can't stand when people call me, I miss the call and call them right back and they don't pick up. Like, within seconds. I always want to ask, "Why'd you call me in the first place???" Ugh.

  26. I hate constant lateness!!! I always try to be a couple minutes early; I'd much rather be early than late!

  27. Yes, yes, yes, yes.. second all of this!! Weird thing is that my personal space is pretty large, so quite some people have, without knowing, had me in high-flight mode before :-)

  33. No thank you notes is a BIG one for me...I formed a habit of always sending notes as a kid which has stuck with me as an adult, so I'm always surprised when other people don't send them.

  34. Ugh, hypocrites. My husband's mother acts like his father is this horrible person who cheated on her. Then she started dating a married man two years ago (and not for the first time)! And she still expects people to think my husband's father was so awful for cheating. I will never understand this logic.

  35. I agree with a lot of these but the thank you note one is huge!! I don't get it. It takes such a short amount of time for one card and is fairly inexpensive. So why don't they do it????
