Happy Friday, ladies! Personally this is the one week of the year that I'm not dying for Friday, because that means we are further away from my fabulous birthday. Wednesday was such an awesome day even though it isn't the happiest day in history. I've always taken stock in the fact Lincoln died and the Titanic sank on my birthday. Wouldn't you know both of those subjects, along with the Civil War, have been my favorite to study since elementary school? So, even though bad things happened on the 15th I look to the joy of my birthday and the awesome people who share it with me [oh WHAT UP Emma Watson and Carolyn]! As birthday week comes to a close, I figure I get to sneak in one more birthday themed post. ;)
Favorite Perks of Birthday Week: Working from home, birthday coffee with sprinkles, sushi & champs for lunch a Google even wished me a happy birthday. #sofunright?

Favorite Dinner of Birthday Week: My family always celebrates birthdays with the birthday girl's choice and for the past four years I've chosen hibachi. In my opinion it's the perfect party atmosphere and the food is amazing. This year I made my birthday cake and it was amazingly delicious. Don't worry, the recipe will make an appearance here very soon.
Favorite new Trend of Birthday Week: I've started participating in the necklace stacking trend and I'm loving it right now. What do y'all think, yay or nay?
Favorite Gifts of Birthday Week: I was a pretty spoiled girl this week. From two dozen roses, a balloon and a cupcake book from Le Husband [with something else on the way], to a new iPhone from my parents [I'm still on a 4s, pathetic I know], to ballet tickets to see the Royal ballet from Babyspice and beautiful flowers plus a gift of my choosing from Sportyspice. My family was too generous and they really went above and beyond anything I imagined. Gifts don't make the birthday, but feeling special sure is wonderful.
