I wrote a post about it last year and thought after the days I've had recently I needed to bring back the crazy for your entertainment. Because that's what we do in blog land, we turn our current situations into gif filled posts #freetherapy #funnywithfriends.
I confess when I have a bad day...
Usually it starts because I didn't get enough sleep so I'm facing the morning and day looking like this.
I want to drop kick the idiots that keep asking me stupid questions I've already answered. #payattention
I mentally picture doing this to everyone around me that doesn't do what I want.
I throw major silent shade to everyone. #imannoyedleavemealone
Talking to anyone is a huge ordeal and something I avoid like the plague.
My walk away because I'm annoyed prance becomes even more dramatic.
Even the slightest criticism turns me into a mush-ball of emotions. #judgementalsadannoyedimeverything
Now, we can't stay in a funk forever, because that's no good for anyone. Sometimes it takes a few minutes, a random compliment [thankyouchipotleworker] or a day to get out of the funk, but one way or another you gotta get yourself back to happy. Here are a few things I'll do to get back to normal.
When life makes me grumpy...
I grab a glass....or two of my favorite drink.
I pretend I'm a fashion model and sashay down my hallway in my favorite dress. Because, hello, fun!
I try to get in a quick workout to get the endorphins flowing. It doesn't have to be tough, just a lil summin' summin'.
I throw healthy eating to the wind and indulge in a delicious egg sandwich with a side of Smores pop-tart. #holla
What do you do when life annoys the beep out of you? How do you get back on the straight and narrow?

I have to say the working out usually cures my bad day - if that doesn't work then wine and chocolate always fix problems LOL! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteThere has been a few of these lately in my life too. Most of which happen due to a cranky toddler. What I do is take a few deep breathes, go outside to sit in the sun, make my kiddos smile or laugh (nothing fixes a bad mood better than that), or treat myself to a Starbucks. Talking to my mom usually fixes it too. My best friend is also really good and helping me feel better about the little things that get to me.
ReplyDeletei have a dance party. it's usually party of 1 since my dog does not like to participate and looks at me like i'mc crazy. he's not a dancer. more a of a sleeper. and he ALWAYS makes me feel better.
ReplyDeleteHahaha I had a day like that last week! After crying under my desk (kidding), I took a little walk to my car and set there and inhaled my stress away and peppermint oils then took a few moments to myself before going back up. Today is already off to a horrible start so I'm hoping I can change that!
ReplyDeleteThese gifs are everything! And I hear ya... I've definitely been there lately. I usually just try to keep to myself and enjoy my yummy coffee (the only thing keeping me sane during the day), and a good workout and a big glass of wine that evening are my best friends :)
ReplyDeleteOh man. Sometimes life annoys the beep out of me too - and it's even more annoying that frustrating things seem to come in multiples. Ugh. Love how you respond to frustration. Working out, sashaying and poptarts are definite cure-alls!:)
ReplyDeleteI am legitimately laughing so hard right now, I snorted. Every single gif = me when I'm annoyed. I mean, there's really nothing more that I could add, because down to the throwing major silent shade at everyone is me in a nutshell.
ReplyDeleteI do, however, indulge in one or sometimes two cones of ice cream to deal with the pain of stupid days. #ItIsWhatItIs
This so funny! All of those gif's are great. Taking a walk usually helps but not always. Sometimes the silent treatment happens. Winks and Eyerolls
ReplyDeleteoh my god, yes to all those gifs when you're having a bad day, esp when poeple keep on asking me to repeat what i've said. NO! if you dont listen the first time, go away and figure it out yourself!!
ReplyDeletetime away from humans and/or working out gets me in a better mood
Love those gifts. Whenever I'm having a bad day, I try to get outside and go for a long walk. It always makes me feel better.
ReplyDeleteI am seriously cracking up at this post - because honestly, it's so true! I gotta steal that Zack Morris one!
ReplyDeleteOh how I love you and this post! I was feeling the need to drop kick a few... you know... last night. Ugh, sometimes life pisses me off! I need to remember to keep the humor instead of letting the anger and stresses keep me down!
ReplyDeleteLove a good GIF filled post! And I know all about that funk - hope you get out of yours soon!!
ReplyDeleteYes to ALLLLL of these gifs. LOVE. But seriously I really can't handle anyone when life is just annoying me to death. Usually gorging on carbs and wine does the trick for me though bahaha.
ReplyDeleteYES!!!!!!! Hahaha love these!
ReplyDelete"Life gets all up in your grill and decides to do whatever it can to knock you down."
ReplyDeleteI love this line. I was carpooling my daughters and a bunch of their friends to dance the other day and Alexa got upset at me about something and started arguing, while getting closer to my face. I said..."You don't need to get all up in my grill about it". The car went silent and I got the most confused looks from all the girls. I died laughing. They had no idea what a 'grill' was...they thought I was talking about one you cook on. So, I had to google image pictures of a mouth 'grill'. So, now that's their favorite thing to say..."Stop gettin' all up in my grill, yo". LOL
But, for real....life does get all up in our grills sometimes and it's all in how we handle it. Finding humor in things is always my go-to - because if we can't laugh, we'll cry and I'd rather laugh! ;)
Smores pop tarts can always turn a bad day into a good one! Love these gifs!
ReplyDeleteThis is SO incredibly accurate. Laughing so much!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA! I love all the funny additions! And it's all so true! :)
ReplyDeleteYou have me cracking up! Im so not a morning and really would prefer not to talk to anyone until noon lol...
ReplyDeleteLove the gifs! Gifs alone brighten my day. SO fun!
ReplyDeleteYou're so amazing to have life-suck coping mechanisms! Mine are always working out, cleaning, shutting off, grabbing a glass, going for walks/hikes, time with puppies. :):):):)
ReplyDeletea glass or two... or five. you know whatever ha.
ReplyDeletegifs are on point by the way! I particularly love Kourtney Kardashian. Thats how i feel about phone calls at work all day err day.
Bahah the little girl: priceless. YES to a fave drink, trying to at least get out doors and/or move to get the endorphins flowing, and sometimes a long bath helps too :)
ReplyDeleteOMG yes to working out, so true! I used to kind of roll my eyes and be like "REALLY THOUGH??" when people said they used exercise to relieve stress or frustration but now I totally get it. Sometimes all I need to do is go pound the pavement and I feel a million times better! That and chocolate. Always chocolate. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness...YES to all these GIFS! Great way to brighten my day!
ReplyDeleteOhhh my gahh.. i LOVE these gifs!! This post made me laugh.. thank you by the way.. because I seriously think I did half of these today LOL! Throat punches anyone??
ReplyDeleteWhen life annoys you, you also create fantastic posts...because this was indeed fantastic! Hot baths, wine, a candle, a book, and kitty cuddles. That helps me rewind after a craptastic day.
ReplyDeletehahaha all of these gifs are so on point and yes to all of these things. When life annoys me -I truly need to step away from humans lol because I get real snappy real quick.
ReplyDeleteS'Mores Pop Tart?! What is this magical deliciousness of which you speak?!?!
