Home again, home again...

Morning and happy Monday friends. As you're reading this I am flying home from Vegas with Le Husband.  Yes, this year we decided to prolong our trip a few more hours and fly home on Monday [at 6am, woof]. I'm grateful I work with a very understanding boss who will let me work from home once we land so I don't have to take a day off. And we all know working in sweats on the couch is incredible, right? Don't worry, I will give y'all the recap later this week [pinky promise] but I didn't have it in me to devote vacation time to blogging.

So, today you get to learn a lil more about me. I know I've posted a few of these recently and if they bore you I'm sorry. I honestly LOVE reading these posts on other blogs and enjoy writing them as well. I think it's fun to learn more about people we stalk support on the Internet ;)! Enjoy!

Favorite Food? S'mores or mushrooms in a red wine reduction.

Flip Flops or High Heels? High heels!

Favorite Places to Shop? Loft, Target, Nordstrom, Kendra Scott [thanks BOFF]

Top Five TV Shows? NCIS [all of them], The Good Wife, Elementary, Castle, DCC Making the Team.

Favorite Book? Gone with the Wind

Favorite Form of Exercise? Soccer games! Or BODYPUMP!

Do you try something new at restaurants or stick to favorites? Depends on the restaurant. If it's an old staple, I'll probably stick with my favorite, but if I'm at a new, fancy restaurant I'll try something different than normal. Unless I go to a steak house, then I always want a rib-eye or filet and I almost always get a risotto at an Italian restaurant.

One make up item you can't live without? Mascara and lipstick/lip gloss.

What's on your nightstand? My alarm clock, phone, picture of me and Le Husband, lamp, BC, eye drops, Vaseline [chapstick], prayer journal, pen and a small nativity.

One thing marriage has taught you? Oh man, so many things. The biggest one is LOVE, just love!

If you could live anywhere in the world other than your current city where would you live? Oh goodness, so many different places. I'd love to live in Hawaii, New Orleans, Charleston, Nashville, Savannah, Salt Lake or somewhere in Big Sky country.

Tell us something about you we might not know. Well, I posted many a new thing *here*, so let me think. Oh, I drink my coffee through a straw so not to stain my teeth. Yes, even hot coffee.

Websites you read//browse [besides blogs]: MSN, BravoTV, ESPN and various articles I find on Facebook.

Morning person/Night owl? Umm, neither? Well, I guess I'm better in the mornings then having to stay up late at night so I guess morning person. If it's bright all the time [like summers in a Alaska] I can stay up MUCH later than normal.

Favorite/least favorite chore? Hmm, all of them? I mean, I wish I had a maid, haha. I don't really enjoy dusting because you have to move everything out of the way. Or cleaning the toilet, that is never fun.

  1. That's awesome that your boss is letting you work from home so you can recover from Vegas! I love Vegas and I can't wait to hear all about your trip! Kendra Scott is definitely one of my favorite stores too, as my husband knows from my way too many pieces of jewelry I own from her store.

  4. Working from home seems like one of the best things ever. I can't wait to hear about Vegas! NCIS: LA is one of my favorite shows. I need to catch up on it. Perhaps I'll do that today since Columbus Day = day off ha. I probably would've forgotten my BC today had you not said that because mine is normally on my night stand but it's still in my suitcase from yesterday.

  6. I am neither a morning or a night person haha. I always get the same thing at a restaurant, just hate looking and finding new items to eat. And one of the cities you mentioned that you'd love to live, I live in :)

  10. I have a co worker who drinks her coffee through a straw - kinda genius! ;) I don't drink much but find myself thinking my teeth have gotten less white lately. Bummer! I love these kinds of posts! Super jealous you were able to take a day and work from your couch in sweats - that sounds awesome!!!

  11. When you wrote that you drank coffee from a straw it made me think of Ryan Seacrest he does the same thing, haha. And often comments on his radio show that he's burned his tongue, totally random comment of the day. And YES to DCC, It's addicting. What channel is it on? I missed it this year becaue my DVR got rid of all of my season passes and I couldn't remember what channel it was on and always forgot to look it up.

  16. Ugh dusting is the worst! But the one I hate the most is cleaning the tub/shower! I should definitely adopt the coffee through a straw thing, I drink SO much coffee and I'm worried about my poor teeth!

  17. So, I'm an idiot. I legit had to read this 3 times: "S'mores or mushrooms in a red wine reduction." I thought... "smores in red wine? that sounds gross!" GAHHH... IS THIS DAY OVER YET??? LOL
I would rather clean the toilet than do dishes. Dishes are my arch nemesis.
