The Weekend That Flew By in a Blink

I mean, does anyone else think this weekend flew by incredibly fast? Seriously, I can't believe it's Monday morning. Not complain, just a bit in disbelief. My weekend originally wasn't busy however things crept up and boom, it was Sunday night and bedtime. But now Monday's here, I'm ready to get after it and have a good week. I hope you will too!

Here's my weekend in snapshots …

… Homemade chicken zoodle soup after a cold morning of kickball practice.

… Le Husband took his brother to the OSU vs PSU game in Columbus on Saturday night. They had a great time watching the Buckeyes win and Le Husband sent me an awesome picture of the band. #gobucks

… Pictures from a review you'll see later this week.

… I finally found a DEEP lipstick [per the fashion this fall] tried it out. #onthefenceyayornay

… Helicopters that were circling DC on Saturday. #ilovehelicopters #iblameakathankmydad

… The cooler temperatures finally made me take steps to change over my wardrobe. Sad to be packing away some of my favorite summer outfits, but it was nice seeing some of my old fall friends.

… The Bengals beat the Bills, woohoo whooodey!

… A Harry Potter weekend brought forth some great movie moments. I personally think the drunk Harry scene in the Half Blood Prince was one of his more brilliant moments in the series. Am I the only one?

… Another soccer game, another win!

* Not pictured: My mise en place for the steak meal I cooked for my family. It was delicious and an inmprotu family evening. -- An amazing meal of sweet potato nachos for dinner Saturday night. -- One dysfunctional kickball practice. -- Naps! -- A cold bike ride. -- Work done on our Christmas cards!

How was your weekend? Was it as fast as mine?

  27. The lipstick color looks great on you! It's a dramatic color but i think it looks nice on brunettes and perfect for parties or certain events when you want to pep up your makeup. Or you can wear it everyday to work too lol. Just depending on your style.
