I confess
... teachers that brag about snow days, every time they have one, drive me nuts. My sister is a teacher, so I totally understand the effort y'all make each and every day, but the bragging when you're off is a bit off putting. Yes, it's great to get a day off, but how annoying would it be if I constantly gloated about my paycheck being more than a teacher's? Pretty annoying! #stopbraggin
... I lost it yesterday when Le Husband couldn't say brooding. He kept calling it broody and I thought it was too hysterical. #lovethatsillyman
… the cold weather is making me shoppy. I'm trying to be good, sales are driving me nuts. Especially when I've found a sale on des boots
... a coworker started talking to me, about something ridiculous and I pulled a Heather. #eyedontcur
… I'm more excited about cooking food this week than I have been in a long time. I'm trying something new [which I'll share later] and can't wait to mix it up in the kictchen. #clean
… Le Husband almost got sucker punched yesterday when I realized how badly and strangely my back was burnt in Florida. Note to self: men do not know how to put on sunscreen. #yourekiddingme #iwillbeaskingstrangersnexttime
Oh my gosh, your back looks terrible! My husband is so worried about getting burnt that he's the opposite. He takes 17 minutes to rub it all in. I'm always seriously, it's fine. And then I always wish I hadn't asked him. Can't wait to hear about your new kitchen adventures!
ReplyDeletehehe about the weather making you wanna shop! love that. that's my excuse too!
ReplyDeleteI've been eating too much from the cold...:( I wish I had the shopping bug instead.
ReplyDeleteOuch! Your back looks painful.
that picture is the cutest!!!!
Ouch! That sunburn looks painful. My husband has trouble putting sunscreen on me too. I usually ask someone else. :)
ReplyDeleteHaving sunburn is terrible!! Hoping it heals up quickly !!
ReplyDeleteOH lord C is a mess. And the baby cub picture, I died, so cute. Excited for your kitchen escapades. Love you hope you are having a good week.
ReplyDeleteThe cold weather is making me "shoppy" too! It needs to stop before I blow through our checking account, lol!:)
ReplyDeleteGirl I've been on a shopping kick recently but it's all on sale so that helps!!! That last funny - so cute!! xo, Biana - BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteI did some major damage online shopping last week. I blamed the snow for not being able to get out and hit up Target like I usually do.
ReplyDeleteIt has been rainy and nasty here plus I'm sick so online shopping it is haha.
ReplyDeleteOh no! You better put some aloe on that sunburn! That last pic is too cute.
ReplyDeletei get really shopping with the arrival of spring and summer but it doesn't look like winter is leaving anytime soon so no shoppy for me.
ReplyDeleteshare those recipes, please!
Your back looks so sore. You poor thing. I go crazy when my teacher friends brag about having no school. One of them is really really bad about it. And since she is at a private school, they don't have to make up the days. With all this snow, they have missed like 10 days of school!
ReplyDeleteOUCH - sunburn!!!
ReplyDeleteAhhh - kitty cat.
Believe me - I have that Heather reaction EVERY DAY with co workers.
I was going to say that the cold weather usually makes me want to shop, but then I realized any weather makes me want to shop. In fact, I think I may have a shopping problem. Yikes about your back! I may have laughed though.
ReplyDeleteHAha, "This weather is making me Shoppy". Truth!
ReplyDeleteOuch - that sunburn looks painful!! But, not gonna lie -I'm kinda jealous that you were IN the sun! I'm at the point of taking a sunburn over snow! #givemespringNOW
ReplyDeleteMy husband is too rough when he puts on sunscreen....it drives me nuts like I have to brace myself to stay put!
ReplyDeleteYour poor back! Hope that sunburn fades quickly and doesn't peel! I'm soooo over the cold weather. It makes you want to shop...and it makes me want to scream!
ReplyDeleteouch that sunburn :s i would have been so annoyed with him for that!
ReplyDeleteAh that burn looks like it hurts! What is it about cold weather that makes us want to shop? I am going back home to Maine for spring break in a few weeks and I have been looking forward to all the shopping I'm planning on doing!
ReplyDeleteOuch! Hoping that sunburn heals up soon for you!
ReplyDeleteOMG that last picture is so adorable. And seriously, sometimes you just can't trust guys for anything! Hope the burn goes away shortly.
ReplyDeleteyeah i definitely wouldn't trust my husband to put sunscreen on me, haha. you poor thing!
ReplyDeletemy husband is a teacher and yeah. he never *brags* exactly, but when he's like hoping for a snow day, i'm just like 'i dont get a bloody snow day, or 3 months off - neither do the rest of the adult working world!!' lol. but then he drives me to work because i hate driving in the snow so i dont mind.
OUCH to that burn!! I accidentally did that to Jared once-- he has never trusted me with sunscreen since ;) And OH, I love AND hate you for posting those boots. I'm in desperate need of a pair and those are so gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat annoys me more than teachers bragging about snow days is when they complain about going back to work after having the summer off or several weeks for Christmas/New Years. Try getting only 2 weeks off for the whole year :-P

ReplyDeleteMy husband has left me with some strange tan lines as well and I've threatened to have a stranger do it. Poor thing!
ReplyDeleteOh no! Hope you're putting lots of aloe on that burn! That's a pretty big area for the husband to miss.
ReplyDeleteIs it sad that I actually want a sunburn right now?! Give me sunshine, please!! And I'm the opposite when the weather is nasty - I'm usually hibernating and spending $0 haha, maybe the only good thing about winter!
ReplyDeleteOUch your back! Totally deserved a sucker punch for that one ha. That meme is the story of cats for sure. And can we talk about the genius #eyedontcare hashtag baha?
ReplyDeleteso funny! That pic especially and your POOR back!!!
ReplyDeleteMy husband is the absolute worst when it comes to putting on sunscreen, especially when he puts it on himself. There are always wide red strips from where he missed.
ReplyDeleteisnt teachers talking about snow days the same thing as people talking about being somewhere warm when its snowing everywhere else? could be taken as bragging too.
ReplyDeleteOMG! Fierce. HAHAHA :)
ReplyDeleteOh no!! That sunburn! Husband fail! ha ha!
ReplyDeleteI always love your confessions!!
That picture is hilarious!!! Your poor back haha and poor husband who probably got an ear full haha!!
ReplyDeleteHaha he's so fired from sunblock application!
