Morning, ladies. How are you doing? Did you have a great weekend? Mine was pretty fantastical, because it was filled with birthday and baby celebrations and fun with friends. It was a much needed weekend after a super long week. I'm hopeful this week flies by, because this weekend I'm flying to see my BOFF to shower her and baby Evie! Hurry up, Friday…hahaha!
But, before we get to next weekend, let's look back at my weekend.
This weekend I …
… celebrated a dear friend's birthday. Friday night we went to this AHHMAZING bar, that is known for it's exclusivity and it's delicious drinks. You had to ring a doorbell to get in and if you didn't have a reservation you weren't getting a table until after midnight. Our birthday boy made reservations and we sat a super festive and fun table. #cactussofa
… was overwhelmed by the drink choices because they literally hand you a book. They have everything separated by flights and alcohol, but it still was incredibly overwhelming for all of us. Luckily we had an amazing server who told us the best idea ever, which made the night super fantastical.
… Barmini is known for their eclectic cocktails and our server suggested get a flight of drinks instead of just a drink. The whole table jump on the idea and we each were served seven drinks, plus a starter for only $60. It was one heck of a delicious deal, plus each drink included table side preparation and service.

… was the brave member of the party and tried the gelled mojito drink first. It burst in the mouth like a grape and was incredibly refreshing.
… acted like a child when our liquid nitrogen drink was prepared at our table. #socool
… drank a Harry Potter Christmas Cocktail. AKA a rosmemary and whiskey drink.
… chowed down on a special, complimentary ice cream sandwich. #alcoholicecreamislegit
… took pictures with a penguin statute.
… took a fun sissy picture with our Harry Potter drink.
… attended a beautiful baby shower for a fabulous lady. #gelatocakeforthewin
… watched Despicable Me 2 for Saturday movie night.
… slept 12 hours Saturday night.
… woke up, ate breakfast, felt off [post to come], went to a kickball meeting then went to the gym.
… cooked another homemade pizza. #chickenonionmushroomcheese
… changed the channel from the Grammys to the 30 for 30 documentary on the 1980 USSR hockey team. You know, the team that our Miracle team beat? Super interesting documentary, put the US win in a completely different light.
… prepped for Monday and went to bed. How was your weekend?
Linking up with these beautiful ladies < 3

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun weekend! That bar looks amazing!! I so need to watch that documentary. One of the U.S. players grew up in the same town as me and he was a local hero. Super nice guy. He would let anyone try on his metal if you asked him. For the life of me, I can't think of his last name. Ugh, hate when this happens.
