This weekend I…
Caught a late night flight to the Ft. Worth area.
MIssed my airplane buddy like I never expected. It was kind of weird how out of sorts I felt without Le Husband with me in the airport. I honestly couldn't tell you the last time I flew alone.
Woke up Saturday morning, at breakfast and then headed out to watch a twirling competition. It was so much fun watching twirling since it was such a big part of Lynn's life. I was completely taken in by the talent of all the girls and of course the sparkles. So many sparkles.
Ate a delicious Valentine's Day dinner of Pei Way with Lynn and J. It was so perfect and we enjoyed Bridesmaids while we ate.
Loved on these lil girls. #lovethosepuppies
Hit the hay because Sunday was early church. Woke up for church, loved the message then went to a delicious brunch.
Came home, watched more Lifetime then changed for the baby shower.
Went to the host's home and helped set up. She did an amazing job with the decor and the drinks.
Drank lavender lemonade, champs while munching on mini sandwiches, bundtinis, and pita chips with dip.
Loved on Lynn while she opened her gifts. Oohhed and ahhed over the darling baby clothes.
Enjoyed meeting more of her dear friends and catching up with those I met at the wedding. Helped clean up and then headed back home.
Headed to the airport, enjoyed Precheck, lucked into a row by myself, met the sweetest flight attendant and watched How to Train Your Dragon 2 on the flight.
Landed safely, kissed Le Husband and passed out at home.
How was your weekend?
Linking up with these beautiful ladies < 3

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, you are SO cute! I already know how well you and I get along, but you and Mia would be BEST friends! We got her the planes movie for Christmas because she is OBSESSED with "airtrains!!" and helicopters, ha ha! Cutest movie! And we got her Dragons 2 for Valentines because she is obsessed with "dragons" and asks for it every day, ha ha! Now we can change it up between the first and second movie! If the second part of your title rings true, come to Arizona this summer and visit! ;) What a wonderful weekend celebrating your BOFF and baby! Such an exciting time for everyone!
