An Empty Tomb and a Full Weekend

This weekend I…

// attended a beautifully heartbreaking Good Friday service. #itisfinished.

// prepped food stuffs for dinner on Sunday.

// slept in Saturday, ate breakfast then packed for a hike.

// spend a few hours trail hiking in Great Falls. It was a bit windy, but still amazing weather.

// namaste'd in the great outdoors.

// experienced the silence of Easter Saturday.

// painted my nails using Elle's marble nail tutorial. LOVE THE OUTCOME!

// stayed up way too late watching the Kentucky vs Wisconsin game. SO GOOD! I love college bball!

// woke up super early [6:15am] to set up for Communion at our church. It was nice being up with the sun on Easter Sunday. #HEISRISENINDEED!

// celebrated the Resurrection with amazing music, a wonderful sermon and the true meaning of Easter. #celebratetheemptytomb #becausehelivesIcanfacetomorrow.

// went home and helped prep Easter dinner.

// met most of the family at church after the late service to get an 'almost' family picture. #missingBabyspice.

// had to get a husband and wife pic, of course :)!

// enjoyed the LIVING Cross, full of flowers.

// played photo shoot at home while the food cooked. Love my family!

// stole these beautiful pictures from Babyspice. #lovelyfamilyhome

// had a visit from the Easter bunny.

// feasted on a fabulous dinner with my wonderful family. We enjoyed cornish game hen [recipe tomorrow], root vegetables, hash brown casserole, salad, macaroni & cheese, rolls, roasted cauliflower and broccoli with a side of wine :)! #doubledelicious

// indulged in a little too much dessert after our delicious dinner.

// started planning a fabulous family vacation for later this year.

// went home and spent time on the couch napping and recovering from a fabulous weekend.

// spent time building more of the island.

// prepped for Monday and went to bed.

How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun?
