To Whom It Make Concern

[source]
Dear Blog Friends: Thank y'all so much for being so wonderful. Your comments yesterday were so sweet, so kind and so amazing. I love this lil community of friends and am so happy to know each and everyone of you. Thank you for not telling me to 'get over it' or to 'just be happy because it's your birthday'. I had that happen last year and it drove me bonkers at the insincerity and lack of compassion. We all deal with loss in our own ways and I appreciate each of you for understanding that for me. I am so thankful for this amazing piece of Internet and for all of the friendships I have formed. Y'ALL ARE THE BEES KNEES!

Dear Allergies: Hi. Yes, I know you have arrived and yes, I know that you are here to stay for the next few months. I can't do anything about your existence, but I can ask for a lil relief. Will you please play nice with my meds this year?! Going through a box of tissues a day really isn't fun for Pinky. Let's call a truce, pretty please?

Dear Big Time Fitness Blogger: Despite your best efforts, you're not fooling anyone. While it is a huge blessing you are expanding your family by another pregnancy, the fact that you chose to draaaaag it out over weeks for page views is quite ridiculous. I used to look up to you, but have come to realize the 'realness' you portray is just an act. I'm not trying to 'be a hater', but it's hard to relate to someone that isn't truthful about her fitness and clearly now her life.

Dear Life: You are so unpredictable which makes you a lot of fun. But, it can also be a little unnerving when our perfectly thought out plan doesn't come to fruition. So now we don't know what is in store. We are at a bit of a crossroads [a five way crossroads] and it's kind of scary trying to choose our path. Do we choose adventure? Do we choose stability and fiscal responsibility? Do we just say who cares and back pack through Europe because we can? Do we wait for children? I want to know the answers and I want to know them NOW!

Dear Lunchtime Gym People: I like you guys, a lot. It's fun seeing the same faces every MF and now Weds. I've been going to the gym at lunch since the summer and I'm finally brave enough to talk to y'all. Thanks in part to the out going gentleman in our BP class. Class is more fun now that I have people to say hi to, instead of just quickly going through the sets. When I miss class I miss y'all, which is silly since we barely know each other. So, thanks for keeping me motivated every class and for being so fun.

Dear Fast and Furious Family: I am so sad the journey is over. I recently re-watched the whole series, minus Fast Seven and y'all are one of the coolest casts on the planet. I loved Fast Five and how the cast has changed and grown. It was kind of crazy starting at the beginning where everyone [except Vin of course] looks so young. Paul Walker changed like crazy and I'm so sad he is no longer with us. He helped create the Fast and Furious franchise and I am so looking forward to seeing Fast Seven. Thanks for the fun movie memories, y'all.

Dear Complainer/Drama Queen: Please just stop. Everything is not about you, contrary to your belief. You are not the center of the universe, the center of everyone's thinking nor do we care that you are sooooo annoyed with life. You can't complain about 'hating' drama when you are drama. Oh and btw, if you can't take it, you really shouldn't try and dish it out. #youjustlookhypocriticalandsilly #icanseestraightthroughyourwhinybs. #blessyourheartfortryingthough

Dear Blogland: Did I miss a post where everyone decided to be pregnant the same year? Oh.my.babies! Pregnancies are everywhere and it's so wonderful to see so many people expecting new life. I looked through my dashboard the other day and I had twelve baby bump posts in a row. TWELVE! They were all fun to read, but it made me feel like a missed a memo or a pact somewhere ;)! ***To those that are TTC and are having issues, please know I am praying for you. I have never been in your shoes, but I empathize with your struggle. I may not have the words to make it better but I can pray for you and the sweet addition to your family***

Dear April 15th: I can't wait for you! BIRTHDAYAHOLIC IN THE HOUSE!!!!

  8. I think this is definitely the year/season for babies in blogland, lol! Not sure why, but I feel the same way (though being part of the blogger baby boom has been fun!) Hoping your allergies don't treat you too badly. Especially since your birthday is coming right up. Wahoo!!!!:)

  11. Okay, of course I'm dying to know which fitness blogger you are talking about!
Isn't it the truth about babies? It seemed like there was a huge baby boom when I was pregnant with Mia, as well.
I've been lucky enough to not suffer from allergies (but I know I could develop them at any time, yuck!) but Eric was DYING the whole month of march. They were pretty bad here in AZ! Anyway, we've heard that local honey, or even better, local bee pollen capsules is supposed to clear up allergies.... forever! I don't remember the details on how to consume them to squash the allergies, but we are totally looking into it to hopefully avoid the allergies for Eric next year!

  13. I am so thankful I don’t deal with allergies.. you kick those soon, lady!! My heart always hurts so bad for all those involved with the fast & furious. Haha you crack me up with some of these, WAY to speak your mind – I wish I could be better at that! That birthday is right around the corner lady!!!

  14. YES for lunch time workouts, love getting it out of the way! And now I'm super sad to go see the last Fast & the Furious. Still LOVE the first one, and can't believe PW is gone :(

And ugh I hear ya on the allergies. They were the WORST when I lived up north in the spring and summer. Ever since moving to FL, I've been allergy-free. Probably because there isn't all of a sudden an influx of pollen as everything's alive year-round. Feel better!

  15. I love when you do posts like this. They always make me smile. I hear ya with the allergies. I don't have them, but Cam does and goodness helping a toddler deal with them is no fun.

  16. Oh gosh - all the Fast & Furious stuff is everywhere. I've never seen it but I'm even sad about this last one.

Great post- good to just get it all out sometimes! And also- where would be without the acceptance, love and support of blogland??! Hope you're having the best Thursday and just think, tomorrow is FRIDAY! (thank goodness)

    MUAH!

  20. What a great post!! Couldn't agree more about the drama queens, allergies and blog land where everyone is preggers!! I hope you are able to get some answers with all of your crossroads! Praying for guidance for you!

  21. Oh friend, I am so sorry for your loss. It sounds like you are honoring the memory of Mo every single day with how you live your life and I bet she is smiling down on you.

On another note...drama queens. OVER THEM. Seriously, even if everything is going right, they will still find something to complain about. Grrrrr. Annoying!

  22. There seriously is a baby boom! It's been fun! Two other bloggers have the exact same due date as me! Hopefully whenever that time rolls around for you there will be others on the same schedule; it makes it a bit more fun!

  23. I have noticed the baby boom on my blog feed too! I love reading the updates...my favorite nursing class so far was my maternity class! I am glad that you had so much support yesterday, blogland is great for that!

Yay for being less than a week now until April 15th!!

  24. Great job on this fun post! I love that you are always changing stuff and it lets your readers learn a little more about you each time.

  25. i too am curious about the fitness blogger lol.

I like that your blog is real. So many are filled with "fluff" these days that the real posts are like once a month. I haven't found a ton of blogs to like.

Choose adventure. You are young. YOLO and there is time to be mature/settled when it is time for parenthood. You don't want to skip that and miss out because so much changes once you have kids. You don't have the time/money/energy for those adventures then. I believe life is about experience (i know you already travel a lot) and i find ya can't get that by sitting at home!

I remember last year and how disappointed you were in the responses. I did not understand it as no one has the right to tell anyone to get over something. That is just not cool! Our feelings are our own and up to us how we deal with them. Sorry to hear it is still such a struggle for ya.

    Happy early birthday :)
