The snow gods gave us an early Valentine's day gift.
For the first time this year [five different snow storms] I've been granted the ability to work from home instead of braving the weather. I, unfortunately, am not lucky like teachers or federal employees as my company never closes.
But, this time my boss was awesome and didn't make we trudge through the seven+ inches of snow, as I can access everything I need from home today.
Cue happy dance!
Cue happy dance!
So today I'm sitting at home, in sweats with Le Husband and working with the Olympics on in the background. I love snow!
I so wish my company was nicer to us. We are stuck inside while it is snowing outside. Glad you are staying home. Have some hot cocoa for me! ;)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy sweet girl! Glad you're getting to stay home:)
ReplyDeleteGlad you didn't have to commute in the snow--would be silly if you can work from home to risk it. Working in sweats makes working better anyway :)
ReplyDeleteAnd, being a teacher, I'm still doing some work at home, so don't think we all have it super easy :)
Yay for Snow Days! I totally don't mind working from home as long as I don't have to go out in the snow.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I always have to go to work too... no matter what! HAHA
ReplyDeleteCheers to working from home? Where exactly in Arlington do you live? I can't figure it out (promise I won't creepy stalk you...except maybe to grab a cocktail after a Target run? ) xoxo
ReplyDeleteSo lucky! I was in the office today but it was blissfully quiet! Glad you got to relax at home with your husband!! xo
ReplyDeleteJust when I was about to call you crazy for even TYPING "The snow gods gave us an early Valentine's day gift", I read that you got to work from home and all was right again (in my world). We aren't equipped for those shenanigans around these parts but if we were to ever experience "snow/ice" again, not only would I pray that it only last one day, but that I got to work from home and snuggle up in PJS :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know what a "snow day" is, because I've never actually had one. Every time I live somewhere with snow, we STILL have to go to work. Glad you got yours, though ;)
