I confess...Anniversary edition

This Sunday is my first wedding anniversary and there are about a zillion different emotions going through my head. Okay, maybe not a zillion but there's joy, disbelief, thankfulness, megawatt happiness and a bit of nostalgia, too. It's so hard to believe that this time last year I was insanely [but joyfully] busy, putting the last minute touches onto everything for the big day. The week before my wedding was the best week of my life and I can't remember feeling more blessed.

So today, I'm confessing

::: I did not stop smiling all day.

::: Our photographer snapped some pretty priceless photos.

 

::: I had the best ladies ever in my bridal party


::: My first look with Daddy was such a special moment.

::: This is my favorite picture of Mama B from that day.

 

::: I acted like a silly child.

::: I felt glamorous for the first time in my life.

::: I only had eyes for him walking down the aisle.

 

 

::: Kissing my groom was the most magical moment.

::: Our pictures in DC are some of the best wedding pictures I've ever seen ;)

 

 

::: The reception came together better than I imagined.

::: Dancing to "Bye Bye Bye" at the end of our father/daughter dance was such a fun memory and I'm so glad it went off without a hitch. You can watch the full video *here*

 

::: I was a traditional bride and enjoyed all the fun traditions at our reception.

 

 

::: The sissys and I created lifelong memories that day.

::: I had the best group of friends in the world, in attendance and their joy in our celebration made the day perfect.

 

::: My parents may have been the cutest couple on the dance floor!

 

::: Having my 87 year old grandfather healthy and in attendance was incredible. I wish with all my heart my grandmother were still on earth to share in my special day, but I know she had the best seat in the house in heaven.

::: It truly was, the perfect day!
