It was a busy weekend over here in Pinkland.
Lots of things going's on
and lots oh things gettering done.
Yeaaaaaaaah, I like it like that.
Friday night involved hitting the gym
for a super awesome an sweaty
I haven't lifted heavy weights in awhile,
and man it felt goooooood.
C and I made dinner
and a game plan for Saturday
and then it was lights out
because we had a race the next day.
One of his kickball teammates mentioned the
and C being the man he is jumped at the idea of running.
Me, being me, followed suit.
The Ridiculous Obstacle Challenge Race
is a 5K that has super fun obstacles
sprinkled throughout the three miles.
It was a ton of fun [minusthestartingline]
and C and I rocked it out at a pretty decent pace.
I conquered the Wrecking Ball obstacle
and he beat me in the two water/foam slides.
We were both a mess after the race,
but felt good about getting in a light workout.
|The couple that races together....|
Once the race was over it was time for awesome brunch
and then lots o' wedding stuff.
We had a HUGE list to werk out
and man we got everything crossed off.
We spend all day
finishing the guy's outfits,
buying C's tie
pricing out and creating escort cards [sostoked]
researching and buying centerpiece supplies
testing centerpiece idea [it works!]
updating our spreadsheet with RSVPs
and finalizing the rehearsal dinner stuff.
Holy Mackinaw that's a lot of stuff.
And I felt SO AWESOME
when we were done.
|Keep rollin' rollin' rollin in|
When I had a call with my wedding planners Sunday afternoon,
they were both very impressed with the work we got done.
*Pats self on the back*
Sunday was spent at church,
doing wedding stuff with the rents
and then sorting through things to give away.
My apartment is inundated with boxes
and I'm s l o w l y making progress.
C and I worked really hard in the evening,
measuring his apartment and figuring out
what we can and can't keep.
We both are very stubborn and have two totally different visions
about our 'home'
but we are learning to work it out.
It's really hard though, bringing two people together
that have been established and on their own
for so long.
Goodwill and the sissy's are lucky,
they are going to be getting a TON of stuff.
All in all a great weekend!
How was yours and what did you do?
