If April Showers Bring May Flowers…What Do May Flowers Bring?
Good morning and happy Friday, fabulous friends. I hope the week wasn't too bad for you and that you have some fantastic plans for the weekend. Even if it's just staying in and watching TV or chilling out, make it fabulous, won't you? Alright, let's get down with favorite town. [oh and btw, the answer is Pilgrims, teeheehee]!
Favorite Quote of the Week: hashtagTRUTH #feedthegoodwolf #behappywhenyoudonthate
[don't have the source as this was on a friends Facebook wall and I'm not posting that link here]
Favorite Workout of the Week: We did this in my CXWORX class on Weds and it is incredibly hard but incredibly effective. I suggest giving it a try today, just to test your core.
Favorite Video of the Week: We all know the sad situation in Baltimore and please understand that this is in now way an attempt to make light of the situation. I don't have the answer to the problem so I'm keeping my mouth shut. However, I saw this video online and just had to share it with y'all. If you weren't aware, sports history was made on Wednesday when the MLB game between the Orioles and the White Sox was played in an empty stadium. We had the game on at work because we all wanted to witness history and it was really strange watching plays get made without the cheer of the crowd. I think this player pretending the stadium was full was quite sweet and funny too.
Happy Friday!! I'm a single parent this weekend because the hubby has a big mountain bike race, so I'm already exhausted. Ha ha! I've made that dessert before and it's as good as it looks and so easy to make!! Have a great weekend.
Any time a baby makes a funny face like in the gif you shared it makes my day!! I saw a clip of one of the BB players throwing the ball in the stands like he does in every game almost forgetting there was no one there - it also took them an hour less to play the game - that wouldn't be so bad!! Happy Friday! xo, Biana - BlovedBoston
Oh that first picture.....definitely stop and make you think. Those funnies cracked me up. I don't know why that carrot one made me laugh so hard! I hope you have a great weekend!!! xoxoxoxo
ahhh the ol plank salute. les mills combat program had that and it's awesome! the other day, my trainer kicked it up a notch and we did one arm battle ropes in low plank #death
That quote!! I LOVE it! And that dessert? I am tempted to make it and eat it all by myself... but since we all know I'm too lazy to actually follow through, I'm definitely pinning it to make when we have a family get together or party with friends!
Love that quote, so very true. I thought the ballplayer gif was sweet. It must have been so weird for them to play to an empty stadium. Have a wonderful weekend.
Omg that baby gif gets me every single time! HAHA. And yeah it was crazy how there was no one there in the stands for that game. I love how one of the players pretended to sign autographs too!
OMG that CX workout looks insane! Oh how I miss CX Worx! And that baseball game was crazy! I wonder how much money they lost by closing the stadium that day?!
Whatever that dessert is looks delicious! May flowers brings babies around this neck of the woods ;) Other than that, I would say pool parties. That's what I think of in June.
