... the cool feeling in the air after a big summer thunderstorm.
... fresh flowers all around the house.
... snuggling up in bed for an extra few minutes with Le Husband before work.
... the Brady sisters secret language. It's fun having something special and secret with the sissys.
... anything and everything ballet, especially documentaries.
... a glass of crisp sangria with tapas shared with friends.
... when Le Husband does the laundry and unloads the dishwasher.
... driving with the sunroof [or convertible] open with country tunes blasting into the wind.
... mastering a new skill, whether it's athletic, creative or tool oriented, learning something new is invigorating.
... sleepy morning kisses goodbye.
... walks around the block after dinner.
... ice cream. Gimme all the ice cream.
... puppy and baby cuddles.
... clean sheets fresh out the dryer and right on the bed.
... a great hair and make up day when you have to be somewhere important.
... eating popcorn [with darkchocolatem&ms] on the couch, cuddled up with Le Husband while we watch our favorite show. One of my favorite evening pastimes and one I hope that never changes.

ReplyDeleteAll of this makes me so happy!! I actually feel like learning something new would top the list for me this week as well as when my hubby does some of the yucky chores...like dishes!!! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston

ReplyDeleteGreat list!
You called him Le Husband. LOVE IT.
ReplyDeleteAnd French does sound wonderful today.
Walks around the block... Sounds so nice, and relaxing
I'm not really a fresh flowers person - they always die... UCHK.. But, seriously - fresh flowers sound really great right now. I might go grab a little bouquet and put one on my desk - just because. You have inspired me.
All wonderful things <3
ReplyDeleteI love fresh flowers, too bad our cat always tries to eat them haha.
ReplyDeleteLove this list girl! Especially fresh flowers around the house, I think I need to make a trip to Trader Joes :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't had sangria in ages...now I want some...
ReplyDeleteI've never tried sangria. Is it sweet? I like non-sweet tastes, such as cabernet sauvignon.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I'll have to try mixing some chocolate in with popcorn next time. I can't get enough o the latter; this sounds like a no-brainer ;)
ReplyDeleteOh I love when my hubby does stuff around here too - which isn't very often!
ReplyDeleteStopping by from Stuff -n- Things!
Yes to so many of these! Especially ice cream...I had a bowl of cookies and cream earlier! Sleeping in fresh linen has to be one of the best feelings in the world. I love using lavender detergent so my sheets keep the scent and it puts me right to sleep.
ReplyDeletePopcorn and M&Ms are the best!! I love this post!! I'm craving a good thunder storm now, ha ha! Happy weekend!!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun list!! Fresh flowers, driving with the sunroof open, after dinner walks, and chocolate + popcorn (perfect combo) -- these thoughts brought a smile to my face on this fine Friday afternoon :) You know what else a love? The weekend!!! Enjoy yours, sweets!! xo - Brenda // Chatting Over Chocolate
