I'm not sure what came over Le Husband and me, but we went on a home cooking spree this weekend. Usually that means delicious and healthy food, but not this weekend. This weekend was all about delicious tasting fatty foods.
I recently rediscovered the website Macaroni & Cheese Cake and have reawakened my ridiculous sweet tooth. While browsing the website I came across *this* recipe and immediately had to recreate it. These bad boys are divine, super easy and perfect to take to a cookout.
Saturday afternoon while watching football Le Husband decided he wanted to try to make homemade fried chicken and so I chose to make homemade mac&cheese. Holy scrumptious y'all, our southern home cooked meal was so good. I have now found my favorite side dish to bring to a dinner party. Check out the amazingness.

This weekend we also enjoyed some cleaning, workouts, kickball practice, football, soccer and napping too, but really, it seems that all we did was eat. And you know what, I'm okay with it. I'm happy so I don't really care what I'm eating or what I look like. Hopefully my body keeps from putting on too much weight and I can keep indulging.
