NOT THE DAY FOR SILENCE!

Today I'm not being silent.

Today I am speaking the names of those lost.

I'm posting them online, and I'm praying for their families.

I may be missing people's good intentions, but I honestly
DON'T understand how a blog button
or being SILENT today will help the victims.

Post their names so they aren't forgotten.

Now more than EVER our world needs PRAYER!

LOTS AND LOTS OF PRAYER!

GOD is all knowing and here, we just have to speak His name.

Heavenly Father above,
bless the families of the 20 young souls lost
on Friday.
Wrap your loving arms around them
while they grieve.
In your Son's  holy name,
Amen.

TODAY AND EVERYDAY, WE REMEMBER:

  2. Thank you for not being afraid to speak out and encouraging others to do the same. We need to remember each victim and even more, be their voice.

  3. I LOVE this post.
I saw somewhere on the news that we will always remember the names of these crazy gunmen, but we forget the names of the victims. I don't want that to happen. Esp those sweet little babies.
Thanks for speaking out and keeping their names present in our minds.

  4. I'm not afraid of speaking out, but I am choosing to participate because it does say something. I fully support you non silence as well. The point is making a point and standing ground and letting the world know this is not ok.

  5. Well said, Pinky! I admire your courage for not being silent and making your point in a completely different and much more effective way. Thank you for this post!

  6. I don't think the movement was to "help" the victims (though the button does feature a link where one can donate) as much as it was to represent a "moment of silence" in respect to the victims. Everyone handles situations differently.

  8. We must remember the victims. They are REAL people. Not just news fodder.
