What a Difference a Year Makes

365 measly days right?!?!

Wrong!

Last year, this time, I was a girl friend, on a trip with my sisters and my boyfriend.



We all partied together, played our tails off in kickball together, were the #2 team together and enjoyed our time together in NOLA. It was the FIRST big trip I took with both sissys and the boyfriend and while I was a bit nervous in the beginning, by the second day it was clear this 'family' could work. Little did I know that THIS weekend was the weekend Sportyspice KNEW it was right so she grabbed Le Beau and said "WHEN you're ready, you better let me know and we will help you out"! Way to be aggressive sis ;)! But of course, that piece was an important piece in my engagement story.

This week, last year was the kick off to the best year of my life. I was completely clueless [of course] and was just enjoying my time with my three bestest friends. Our time in NOLA was awesome and then C and I jumped on a cruise for one of my favorite weeks ever.

While we were in NOLA this past weekend, C and I past a cruise ship and I felt this overwhelming sense of nostalgia, thankfulness and happiness flow through my body. Last year I was just a girlfriend and this year I was a wife on a wonderful trip with my amazing husband. HUSBAND! If I had been told last year, that the next year I would be married I would have laughed. Not rudely, but in the unsuspecting no way we can plan a wedding in six months way.Oh silly last year Pinky, if you only KNEW!

If you only KNEW the difference a year can make. :)

    It is funny how HUGE a difference a year can make. Crazy to think where we both were this time last year...and then now. So cool!

    It is SO crazy how much can change in such a short amount of time! Heck, 365 days ago I was a past due preggo mess crying every four minutes. :)

    It's always nice/fun to look back and see where you were "back when"....and Im sure there will be many more of those to look back on as you make more memories!

    For some projects a year is way too short and it seems as if nothing happens. For other things, like love, things can change overnight. Have a lucky Tuesday.
