You Probably Don't Know

I hate the m word. The one that rhymes with choice. BLECH!

I also hate snakes.

Disney movies are my favorites. I will watch them over ANY blockbuster ANY day.

I am a part-time singer in my church choir.

My high school was tagged as the most diverse school in the country my sophomore year and we had National Geographic follow a group of exchange students from three different countries that year. #goatoms.

Even though I work in a techie world, I am sooooo untechie when it comes to blog stuff, phone stuff, video stuff and picture stuff. I'm like the old person of the blog world. #oldladyproblems

Inside the Actors Studio is one of my favorite shows. I want to be James Lipton.

When I was in high school I taught my soccer team the choreography to "Bye Bye Bye" for a pump up video. I learned it all by taping the music video and watching it over and over again. #loser

In college my timeline had me married by 22 and a mother of four by now. #waitwhat

Phantom of the Opera is my favorite musical of all time. I used to since along with my mother's cd and could actually hit quite a few of the notes in 'Think of Me'.

I can recite every line from Beauty and the Beast, due to the fact my parents bought us the cassette tape for car rides and we listened to it non stop on long trips. #sorrymomanddad #predvdplayers

As I've grown older, I've become more shy.

I have never seen the movie Wall-E!

*I saw this around the blogersphere earlier this month but didn't get my act together to post. So I'm sharing my list now.*

  6. Hell yes to Disney > every other movie, but you should watch Wall-E. It's adorable and doesn't require much thought (since there's no real speaking).
I was married and at least pregnant by this point in my timeline. Neither of those are accurate.

  11. Haha I used to know some BSB choreography. Snakes freak me out! In college I thought I'd be married at like 23 & be pregnant with kid 2 by now...if not already have 2 kids.

  15. So the word you hate that rhymes with choice.. that took me like 13 seconds too long to figure out what word you were talking about. Haha!! I'm so ditzy these days!

  16. You go girl with your singing! I was in chorus all of middle school and some of high school. I love to sing, although I'm not sure I'm good at it - my hubby says I am... but I don't really believe him LOL

I've never seen Wall-E either and 4 kids by now? What?!! Haha. Love this post!

  22. I totally knew all the moves to Bye Bye Bye!!! And I might know all the words to Beauty and the Beast too!! Have you seen the Beauty and the Beast Orly polish line???

  23. Are you talking about the word, I'm just gonna say it, moist?! If so, you are the second person I know that can't stand that word and it's so hilarious to me!! One of my salon girls (ah! I miss work!) totally cringed and wanted to punch me in the face each time I said it, ha ha!
I always love getting to know you better!

  24. Um it took me like 45 second to figure the word out. I feel dumb LOL! Do you church it up when you sing in church? I used to sing in church and that's what I always said I was going to do (and did). Had to get people rockin' in the pews! And you are way ahead of this old fogey blogger...I mean I'm 33 and I feel so behind on anything techie for this. Thus....I am signing up for some classes, er I think.

  30. I hate snakes too, I can't even look at pictures of snakes.

As a kid my timeline was to be married by 21 and have two kids. Well I'm 24 and I'm married and have one kid, but couldn't imagine having another one right now even though I want one so badly.

And I loved Hercules as much as you loved Beauty and the Beast that part of the VHS tape we have just cuts out completely because I watched that part so many times.

  32. yes 100% agree with the first! Second would most def be spiders! ugh! o uh, wanna upload a vid of your n'sync moves lady??? hahaha love it!

  33. You have to see the movie Wall-E! It's sad, but awesome and so impactful! My timeline was similar, and although I was 24 when we got married, I'm sooooooo thankful that we waited to have a baby. I cannot imagine having her at such a young age because it's hard enough now! She's fun and all, but I'm thankful we lived up our 20's!

  34. I love posts like these... I think it is great to learn more about a person you follow... I am not to sure what else I could tell everyone that I haven't already...

I am the opposite, I have become less shy as I get older and I have not see the movie Wall-E either... xox

  35. Disney movies are my favorite too and I'm really mad our collection was stolen and we have to start over. Grrr...it's hard to watch our favorites when we don't have them. I'm with you about snacks too. Yuck! I saw one in our yard when Cam and I were out playing one afternoon and I squealed and high stepped it across the yard. Eekk!

    ReplyDelete
  36. That's interesting that you've grown shyer with age. Why do you think that is? Can't believe you've never seen Wall-E! You can never go wrong with a disney movie. Did you hear the VHS Disney tapes that read that they're part of the classic collection on the side are stating to be auctioned off for hundreds of dollars? So if you still have your old classics VHS disney tapes, hold on to them.
