When Wanderlust Becomes Reality {European Adventure is Happening}

Yes, friends, in four short days, Le Husband and I will hop a plane and head across the pond to make our European vacation a reality. I honestly can NOT believe we leave so soon and something we've DREAMED about for years is actually a reality.

THIS.IS.HAPPENING!

To say I'm excited is an understatement. To say I'm over the moon is and understatement. To say I'm a lil bit stressed and nervous is quite the understatement. I'm all of these emotions in one as I realize we will be living one of our dreams, starting this weekend. We've been talking about taking a trip like this since we were dating [five years y'all] and it still hasn't sunk in we're actually going. This is real life, this is our life.

You all might be sick of hearing me talk about it and if you are, I get it. To some it might sound bragging, but it's not. I however cannot control what people think so I'm not going to try. I rarely, if ever, talk up big trips anymore due to security and being smart online so actually mentioning things on here has felt a bit strange. But, this time, there is NO apartment someone can break into because we move out on Saturday. SO NOW, I'm screaming it from the rooooof tops, LEAVING….ON A JET PLANE!!!!

This trip has taken many a turn many a time, can I tell you about our six different 'possible' itineraries? Or the three ways we tried to make Berlin work. There was also a dabble in Italian wine country and foodie heaven, Lyon. Type A super planners we are not, so shocker we have been finalizing itineraries and excursions all week. Honestly, right now we're at the point of just getting there and just being in the culture of many of our excursions and destinations.

There is still so, so, so much to do and it seems the packing and list never seems to end. Top that off with other commitments, birthday dinners [yay birthday week], BODYPUMP launches and meeting up  friends to say bon voyage my lil pink head is having a hard time focusing. BUT, I'm doing it and staying up late and getting it done because it has to get done and sometimes you just have to adult.

And adult we will because soon we will be in Europe and I CAN'T WAIT!!!!
