When I think of vacations, I automatically think of one of my favorite vacations - which is when we traveled last year to Punta Cana. If you've never been, it's a must see/visit. The beaches are beautiful, the hotels are all inclusive, the people are friendly and the service is awesome! We had such a great time with our friends laying by the pool, drinking a few drinks and enjoying adult conversation and many laughs!
So as Pinky is on her vacation and I'm day dreaming about the soft sand and umbrella drinks - let's pretend I'm going back and share what I would bring with me if I were going.

I would definitely be living in rompers and maxi's and bring a few pieces of jewelry to fancy up casual outfits. Island life is very casual so I wouldn't bring anything too dressy. And the glass of wine you ask? That's a for a little liquid courage before we take off, I get anxiety leaving the kids!

That bathing suit is adorable! I've been looking for a cute romper to add to my closet. I'll have to check that one out. We just got back fr the beach and although we did go out to many dinners she to being exhausted after a day playing in the sand I did take a maxi skit which was perfect!

ReplyDeleteI definitely agree Punta Cana is a must-see destination, probably my favorite tropical destination yet! Rompers, beach coverups and maxis are perfect for island vacations...definitely don't need anything fancy ;-)
