3 Movies on a Deserted island..

Today at work, my office mate posed this question to me and a fellow teammate. Just a random question thrown out there.
{mind you, it was 9:15am...surriously}

We were only given 5ish minutes to think about our choices and I thought I would share them with you.
***Disclaimer: I have a very eclectic childish taste in movies so no JUDGEMENT!***

A Christmas Story
I've found that you either LOVE or HATE(communists) this movie and I
LOVELOVELOVELOVE it!
It has created some of the best lines of all time, IMHO.

"FraGI-le....must be Italian"
"I TRIPLE DOG DARE YOU"
"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDGE"
"Fa-ra-ra-ra-rah"
"Everybody get dressed, we're going out"
"I can't put my arms down"
"Daddy's not gonna kill Ralphie"
"You'll Shoot your EYE OUT"

Okay, I could go on and on and on. My FAMILY always watches this movie on repeat Christmas day while we drink coffee, eat breakfast, cook dinner and open gifts. It's so much fun and one of my favorite Christmas memories. If I am going to be on a deserted island, I would want fun memories of my family.
And I mean come one...I'M A CHRISTMAS-AHOLIC!

The Negotiatior
Yes, your eyes DO NOT deceive you, this is in fact a drama/suspense movie. Seriously one of my all time favorite movies. The best part is I randomly stumbled upon it watching TV one weekend right out of college. Just me by my lonesome, watching Samuel L Jackson and Kevin Spacey try to solve a crime. I love the intensity and the banter and really, just SLJ's character. Great film, do yourself a favor and check it out.

UP
One of Disney's ALL TIME greatest movies! I will fight you to the death (ok not really) if you disagree. The plot, the characters and the computer animation...wow just wow. Again, this is another one my family has latched onto and we will often text quotes from the movies to each other. Full on NERDALERT, I know, but the movie has such a special place in our hearts.
There is one scene we will watch over and over again because we are weirdos it's so awesome.
"I FOUND SAND!"
OH man good times...good times!

So, readers now I pose the question to you:
If you were on a deserted island what 3 movies would you bring!?!?!?

  3. UP is a great movie! Such a sweet meaning to it!

That's a toughie! I guess I'd go with How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days for a little romantic comedy, The Pursuit of Happyness for a little inspiration and Shrek for a whole lot of cuteness :)

  7. LOVE this! And I am also a 5 year old when it comes to movies, so Elf would definitely be in there, but Legally Blonde and Sex and the City would also be at the top of the list!! This sounds like something that would go down at my work too!
