Hello friends! Today I'm linking up for 5 on Friday :)!
1]
THIS Buzzfeed post made me so nostalgic for my childhood. Anyone else feel the same?

2] Even though I had a blast posting for the "Blog Everyday In May" Challenge, I'm glad it's over. Scheduling all of the posts and making sure I was linked up on time was a lot of work. I did learn a lot about myself and others though, so I'm very happy I decided to participate AND I blogged EVERY DAY! WOOHOO!
3] My bffer, T, asked C and I to play in a charity softball tournament this weekend and I'm 20384023840 kinds of nervous. I am an extremely athletic girl [not bragging, just stating a fact] but for some reason I STINK at baseball/softball. There is a very high percentage that C and I will argue tomorrow regarding the game and I will probably throw a temper-tantrum because I'm mad about my 'lack of skills'. The ONLY reason I'm participating is because it is in support of the Wounded Warriors project and I LOVE the work they do for our military. Pray for me?!?!?!
4] I need some new summer reads. I've neglected my kindle recently, and really want to devour books this summer. My 'fluff' list has sadly been outweighing my 'best selling' and 'informative' list, so I'm asking you LOVELY ladies for some fun and interesting recommendations.
5] WEDDING PLANNING NEVER ENDS!!!! I know a bunch of you ladies are already married and seriously HOW DID YOU DO IT?!?! To
quote a fellow bride to be "Me planning a wedding is like Paris Hilton giving a commencment speech at a college". HIGHLY unqualified and holy moly, lil details just AIN'T my thing. I know it will all work out and everything, but sheesh, I'm getting overwhelmed. Okay, deep breath and remember Pinky, you get to marry THIS GUY in three months...weeeeee!

WE so silly and I LOVE US! |
Have a fabulous weekend ladies! WOOHOO TGIF!
DONT STRESS! It will all come together, just like you told me!! :) And yes, the most important thing of all is that you get to marry the guy of your dreams!!
ReplyDeleteSummer reads: Defending Jacob--MUST! So good and gripping! Gone Girl if you haven't read it.
Do ya have it... GUTS! Those were the days haha.
ReplyDeleteI asked for some summer reads on my blog today too. Now that the weather is finally nice I can curl up outside with a good book, nothing beats it!
And that's exactly why I plan to elope...on an island. lol. I'm way too crazy organized to try to plan a wedding (much like you) lol
ReplyDeleteMe planning a wedding. Well, being in the middle of the final college finals *check*; doing a 10-hour a week internship in a school with lesson prep the month before the wedding *check*; not being able to confirm the date until 3 weeks before the big day because of marrying a foreign guy in Germany *check*; outsourcing everything possible to other people (place cards, wedding dress, flowers, etc.) *check*; enjoy the day because I'm finally married to the guy I love, and everything worked out fine *check*
ReplyDeleteMaybe the secret about a great wedding is being so busy with more important stuff that you don't even have time to obsess about the wedding.
And enjoy the softball game! Go, Pinky, go!!
ReplyDeleteBrave little toaster! LOVE THAT MOVIE! Funny story - I wanted it for my birthday when I was little, and my Grandma went from store to store asking for "Lucky Little Breadbox" and was so upset that she couldn't find my movie. :) :) :)
ReplyDeleteI just got the book, The Postmistress. It's supposed to be REALLY good. I also recommend The Traveler's Gift. One of my fave reads!
