I'm currently....

Drowning.....

And can't see the life belt thrown to save me....

Sweet Lord please throw me a life vest I can grab on to.

My life is going crazy....

My heart is hurting like crazy....

There are so many unknowns right now...

Sweet girls pray for me...I could really use them!

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeekend Recap

Oh hey there guys and gals, how was your weekend? Mine was filled with TONS of driving but also TONS of fun. I got to see my sissy’s, play on the beach, hang out with an old friend and while we didn’t have a good tournament, I had a GREAT time with my Kickerball team.

Can I just say how much I HATE TRAFFIC!!?!?! I know most people don’t like it and get frustrated when there is traffic, but I take it to a WHOLE new LEVEL! I am a very energetic person (some would say hyper) but am pretty laid back. But that goes OUT THE WINDOW when there is traffic involved. This is not full on road rage, but ladies it’s pretty dog-on close.

I’m talking naughty words…banging the steering wheel….yelling at people and all out woe is me moments. {Father please forgive me}

So needless to say I was really worried about the drive to the beach this weekend. SportySpice was going to be in the car with me, which was the only thing keeping me sane. All in all it wasn’t too bad, but the first 2 hours were pretty painful. Luckily SportySpice made a pretty fantastic CD mix with my fav song “Look at Me Now” {Lil weezy….call me}. We had a good time jamming out, hit up the Chic-fil-A (my favvy) and lo and behold we made it to the beach.

C was already in town so SportySpice and I just chilled until he came to the hotel to meet us. He wanted a quick workout before bed but she and I just wanted to chill and wait for BabySpice and J (her college friend who was subbing with my team this weekend). Once they both got there it was FULL on 16 year old girls sleepover mode. No joke, we were jumping on the bed, giggle, joking, laughing LOUDLY and singing. Poor C didn’t know what to do with himself so he did the normal boy thing…plugged in his computer and put on his headphones. Normally I would have tried to keep everyone quiet, but hey we were having fun.

The next morning was the tournament and I am soooo upset about the outcome. Our team just fell apart for no apparent reason and it stunk…a big one. The team is made up of a bunch of great people and friends but after the round robin play everyone was in a pissy mood. So SportySpice, Babyspice, J and I decided to go to the beach and catch some rays (not that I needed any…hello first sun burn of the season). My friend from high school MC was there and we got to catch up with her. She looks great and makes me wish I was able to run because she is soooo in shape and running a lot races. Don’t worry, I’ve already called the Dr. and made an appointment to address my leg issues. I need to get my run on ASAP.

Saturday night we went out to dinner and to the team social which was fun. I have started to notice though that I only really want 1 or 2 drinks when I go out if it’s not a special occasion. I just don’t want the unnecessary calories it seems. What happened to Booze Bag Magee?

Sunday was the drive home then I had to help C move out of his place and into mine (JUST FOR THE WEEK……FOR REAL). Boys are so funny; they never listen to you when you suggest the RIGHT way for something to be done. Until they have exhausted and pouted using all the other ways. Eeeeeesh! Ladies, you know what I’m talking about right?!?!
Anyway, he has most of the main stuff at my place now but we are moving the bigger stuff after my tennis match tonight. My parents are so sweet and have offered to let him use the basement for the week so he doesn’t have to get a storage unit (so glad he listened to me on this…heehee). We were up late last night putting things together so I’m a little on the tizzzzard side right now. I can’t wait till later this week when we are all settled and I can just breath.

Wow, this is a rambler…thanks if you made it all the way through. Hope yall have a great day!

It's FRI-FRIZZLE and it's RanDIZZLE

That's right friends, I am channeling SNOOP DOGG today....HOLLLAAAAAAAA!

Please don't judge the duck face, I just think I'm hard core sometimes. I mean come one, don't we all?!?!? {crickets...drat}

Anyhoo, my brainio is crazyio at the moment cause welp it's been a long week of work, moving and organizing. Finally the place is coming together and OH HAPPY DAY my bathroom is all set up. Remember my last post about this beautiful shower curtain?!?! YEAH if I was a preteen!!! Seriously when I looked at the set at the store I flashed back to being a 12 year old. I mean come on, I know I look young but not THAT young. Thankfully my coworker K was there with me and lo and behold look what we FOUND! {Chorus of angels: Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh}. This DKNY set fits in beautifully in my bathroom and I'm now working with grey instead of black and would you look at that P!NK!!!! I am one happy gal!

Well not entirely happy, because of said bathroom and other home furnishing purchases I have to return this sweet purse. Actually, tote. Which I don't need....at all. But really really really wanted. However, my bank account and I are trying to become better friends so I can buy fun new bathroom accessories, but can't keep an unnecessary tote! Bye-bye pretty!

Okay enough sadness...on to the fun. ;)

Wanna see what my weekend entails:

This handsome guy{You my boyfriend C}

This silly girl

{Call or ride in a car with SportySpice for a good time}

This other crazy girl

{BabySpice is so much fun, can't wait to see her}

A little bit of some competitive kickerball

{Our uni's are pretty fly for some white guys...and girls}

Seriously can't wait for the weekend.

The only thing that would make it better would be THIS GUY home safe and sound.{I missssss you tons BlackOps}

I hope ya'lls weekends are fun too!

What I'm Loving Wednesdays

This is my first time linking up to "What I'm Loving Wednesdays" hope you ladies enjoy!

{Uno}
I'm LOVING my NEW APARTMENT!!!! I just moved from a 2 bedroom apartment to 1 bedroom apartment in the same complex! I am SO OVER having a roommate and soooo excited to have MY OWN PLACE!

{Dos}
I'm LOVING
all of the Fun to decorating I get to do in my swanky (ok not really) new pad. Since this is MY place and I don't have to worry about a dirrty roommate messing everything up (the stories I could tell you) I am SUPER excited to get some classy fun stuff. For instance how beautiful is this shower curtain? Tre chic, no?! (sorry if I butchered the French I took Spanish in school.)
I was planning to use my shower curtain from college {pink with flowers again, hmmm predictable much} but it had some rust stains on it. No bueno y sad faceo :(! But, for realz I'm thinking about grabbing this curtain, matching trash can and black carpet for the bathbizzle. I personally think it's the perfect mix between girlie and classy.

{Hear that tsk tsk...that's just my Bank Account, feel free to ignore her, I always do}

{Tres}
I'm LOVING my new Diane von Fuerstenburg wallet via RueLaLa! I have been wanting a new wallet FOREVER and when I saw this I said 'Yes pahlease'. I can not begin to explain out how ME this wallet is.

{Cuatro}
I'm LOVING the fact I will see my two sissys this weekend. C and I have a kickball tourney and Babyspice is having to step in as our extra girl. So, of course we invited Sportyspice to drive down and enjoy the sun, kickball and us. I am sooooo exited for the two them to get to know my kickball team on the field and see what this team is really about. They rag on me ALL THE TIME for playing kickball but that's cause they don't get it. I'm also excited for my teammies to see the 3B's together cause it's a hoot and a half.

{Cinco}
I'm LOVING the fact C found an apartment and now won't be homeless!!! Okay, I'm kidding he really isn't homeless but that's another story for another day.

{Seis}
I'm LOVING all of the NEW blogs I am finding through this link-up! Nice to meet you ALL! I hope you all have a fabulous rest of the week. Smile it's hippity-hump day!

My BANK ACCOUNT!

“My bank account
My bank account (DOH)
I’m spending dollars.
My bank account (DOH)
My bank account (YEAH)
Fresh out of money YEP”

{Sung to the magical beat of “LOOK AT ME NOW” by Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and Busta}

Above is no lie ladies…I am spending $$$s like it’s my J-O-B!!!!!!!

I go through spurts of pinching every penny and saving ever little bit followed by some decadent splurging (never outside of my means though, Mama B would kick my hiney!) But seriously it’s been a major splurging spree and I can’t figure out why. Case in point below!

An open letter to me from my Bank Account:
Dear Miss P!nky,

Hello my dear how are you? You must be doing well considering all of the many purchases of the past month. That dress from Lilly did you really need it??? Serves you right it didn’t fit properly and now that money is back in your account….OH wait, no it isn’t. That pesky Diana Vonn Furstenberg was featured on the HORRID site Ruelala and you bought a new wallet and purse with the money you should have saved. My darling darling girl, have you lost your mind? What in the world do you need a new purse for? You have so many pretty ones hanging in your closet.

I also think you need to go on a break from your current relationship with the site Ideeli as well. Just because SOMETHING IS ON SALE it does NOT mean you should buy it! Stop, re-read last sentence. Feel free to insert PINK in with the word SALE.

Not to kick you when you are down, but sweet child have you forgotten you just rented a new 1 bedroom apartment? I know you have been wanted your own place for a while, and I am willing to overlook the extra $400 a month you will be paying since you no longer will have a roommate. But goodness child, if you want to live like an ADULT then you need to be good with your money like an adult.
In summary Miss P!nky you need to start saving more my dear. You have plenty of shoes, pants, tops, skirts, dress, and definitely enough purses. So please step away from online shopping and let me catch a little break.

Cordially (and seriously) yours,
Bank Account

I hope this letter works if not I’m gonna be in deeeeeeeeeeep doo-doo soon.
Have a great one girls!

B family for THE WIN!

This weekend my family flew down to ALABAMA to fake surprise my grandfather for his 80th birthday. What's a fake surprise you ask? Here's a summary in a nutshell:

1)GmaK planned a suprise bday party 6 months ago
2)Family made plans
3)Tornado swept through Alabama 3 weeks agoish
4)Grandparents are FINE just lost power, however the POWER grid in North Alabama was hit hard causing a loss of power all over.
5)GmaK canceled party.
6)The B family said BALONEY and Poof Party is back on
7)GpaJ found out about party so he knew everyone was coming.
So, a fake surprise it was but a GREAT Time was had.

I LOVE my family but we are a little crazy. Okay, we are A LOT crazy but that makes us fun. Many of my friends call us the B___ Bunch because while we aren't a combined family {Mommy and Daddy have been happily married for the past 30 years} compared to other families we are that quintessential family of 5. Don't get me wrong we have a TON of fights, problems, crazy crazy momemtns but we are a family of Love first and formost.

The weekend was a whirlwind, flying down friday night and then leaving Sunday morning. Poor BabySpice had a HORRIBLYHORRIFICTERRIBLE experience with US Airways both flying into and out of Alabama. {Guess who will be getting a NASTY note in the mail this week?} We got to see family we haven't seen in a decade and others we hadn't seen in a year or so. My grandparents are pretty awesome but very eclectic so we weren't sure how the weekend was gonna go. All in all it was fun, chill and a heck of a good time.

Enjoy the picture overload. :)
{But excuse the quality of pics, these were snapped with the iphizzle}

{GmaK is the only one who calls GpaJ Jimmy. She made this sign}

{SportySpice chilling in the airport...such a GOOB}

{GpaJ and GmaK King and Queen for the weekend}

{Monkey jumping on the hotel bed}

{UNICORNS I LOVE THEM...we are obssessed with Despicable Me}

{B family Scrabble?!?! yes please. My cuz dropped a 98 point word eeek}

{Remember when I said we were crazy?!?! SportySpice and I wore these hats to pick up BabySpice from the airport. And yes, everyone loved us}

{Daddy and Sportyspice...so stylish}

{Just your normal B sister airport pickup! I got MULTIPLE comments on my facebook account for this picture. Babyspice's face is hilarious}

{The entire B family at Olive Garden for dinner. YES with hats on}

{Otherside of the table. Mom and Daddy are the couple in the middle}

{SportySpice, P!nky and cousin K3}

{Cousin K2 and Aunt K1 from Texas}

{Bellinis and Sangria yummy}

{Happy Bday GpJ}

{Pretty spring nail fashion}

{Taught my Aunts the shoe pic....they LOVED IT}

{Yes, SportySpice is the CLASSY sister}

{Sending Babyspice off at the airport!}

Have a great week friends!

December 7 1941 "A day that would live in INFAMY"
September 11 2001 "Another DAY that would LIVE in INFAMY"

May 1 2011 "A day the MAN would PAY for what he did"

That's right, the leader of al-Qaida is no longer of this earthly world. Our Military, CIA, Special Forces and Department of Defense finally completed the misison started 10 years ago. A specialized team of Navy Seals took him out.

To quote Mark Twain

"I’ve never wished a man dead, but I have read some obituaries with great pleasure.”

I feel no sorrow, I feel no sadness, I feel no Rest in Peace-ness. The deed is done, we have prevailed and the man is no longer a part of our world. I believe with my whole heart my GOD will punish him for the atrocities he commited here on earth.

Everyone who is old enough remembers September 11th. They remember how they found out, they remember where they were, they remember what they felt.

I can only imagine what was going through President Bush's head when he received the news. This picutre cuts and breaks my heart every.single.time.

You are the President of the United States of America.

Reading to children and you are informed your nations is under attack.

Could you have kept the poker face and finished the reading like President Bush?

HECK TO THE NO!!!!

I firmly believe Bush was elected to lead us after September 11th. No way on earth could Al Gore have led the nation the way President Bush did.
He got the ball rolling in hunting down the horrible terrorist and finally
the JOB IS DONE.

"Earlier this evening, President Obama called to inform me that American forces killed Osama bin Laden, the leader of the al-Qaida network that attacked America on September 11, 2001. I congratulated him and the men and women of our military and intelligence communities who devoted their lives to this mission. They have our everlasting gratitude. This momentous achievement marks a victory for America, for people who seek peace around the world, and for all those who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001. The fight against terror goes on, but tonight America has sent an unmistakable message: No matter how long it takes, justice will be done."
Former President George W. Bush

THANK YOU TO ALL OUR MILITARY PERSONELL!

Thank you to all of the intelligence officers.

Thank you to ALL involved for bringing the horrible man to justice.

This hits very close to home since BlackOps is over in Afghanistan. This was a Navy team not an Army team but it still hits close to our heart.

To quote Toby Keith:

"Hey, Uncle Sam put your name at the top of his list,
And the Statue of Liberty started shaking her fist.
And the eagle will fly and it's gonna be hell,
When you hear Mother Freedom start ringing her bell.
And it'll feel like the whole wide world is raining down on you.
Ah, brought to you, courtesy of the red, white and blue. "
