What I'm LOVING or {not} Wednesday

Hello ladies, I'm linking up with Jaime again this week.

I'm loving the walks my coworker and I now take in the afternoons. This helps to fend of the afternoon sleepies and is a nice time to chat outside the office.

I'm loving COFFEE COFFEE COFFEE! I didn't home until 1130pm from my soccer game last night and Coffee is my BEST FRIEND TODAY

I'm loving the fact that even though my ALARM decided not to work this morning, I was able to get a shower, dressed, pack a lunch and was only 5 minutes late to work. {Luckily I have the option of wearing jeans, I'm LOVING that too}

I'm loving the fact I don't have ANY sports tonight or any commitments and I can just relax in my apartment. I will definitely be doing some DESTRESS YOGA!

I'm loving AC right now since the DC/Metro area has temperatures of 95-100 today. My cold dungeon of an office has never felt so welcoming.

What I'm Not loving so much right now :(

The fact SportySpice and I lost our tennis match last night. It wouldn't have been so bad if the other team wasn't cheating and calling points out that were CLEARLY on the line.

How blatantly disrespectful some people can be. I am not trying to offend anyone, but I can not STAND how disrespectful men in other cultures are to women. I don't care WHO you think you are or WHAT is ok in your country, you disrespect me, especially on the soccer field, watch your back! I may be 5 foot nothing and 115pounds soaking wet, but I'm a firecracker that has NO problem running you down.

I am soooo not loving when teammates flake out on the team. Why would you commit to being on a team and then decide not to show up, just because?!?! Grrr

Okay back to the good stuff.

As always, I'm loving this cutie-pie. C's been on a trip all week and I'm super excited to see him tomorrow.

I'm loving BlackOps too. Sportyspice talked to him and he is doing well. He really likes the paints she sent him. I'm loving that everyday is one day closer to when he is home.

Of course I am loving these two goobers. My sisters and I are completely ridiculous and I LOVE all of the fun memories we have created.

Have a FABULOUS WEDNESDAY everyone! xoxo

Could you RELEARN your life?!?!

Cause this woman did!!!!

How INSANE IS THAT?!?!?

Every morning on my way to work I listen to the same radio station {HOLLA EITM}. The host is crass at times but HIL.AR.I.OUS!!! He always finds the most INTERESTING stories to talk about and it helps on my morning drive, because, well, I'm barely awake.

Today he interviewed a lady named Su Meck. This woman had to RELEARN everything about life, as a 20ish year old. Yeah, she basically had the memory and motor skills of a two year old at age 22. She was a wife and mother of 2 young children and HAD NO IDEA who they were. Or what a 'husband' or 'son' actually meant.

Can
You
Imagine?!?!?

She spoke very well on the phone and actually was very diplomatic regarding the questions asked. Her basic response was 'I didn't know any different. I don't have the same memories as the rest of my family, but I don't really know what I am missing.'

Holy guacamole I can't even fathom the idea of losing all of my precious precious memories. Chalk one up for keeping my bloggie up to date huh?!?!?

Slightly Shameful Sunday

No, not that kind of SHAME!!!! Just the shame of the past and where I was in high school...oh good gosh! {Can I get an AMEN about not worrying about iPhone/camera phones, FACEBOOK, blogs and myspace in high school?!?!? AMEN}

My parents allowed C to store his bed and desk in their basement last week, with the condition I would give my mom an hour and clean out my room at home. YES, I STILL HAVE A ROOM at my parent's house. And yes I keep a TON of stuff there. I am mega blessed I know, thanks Mama B and Daddy! The weather was nasty and C is gone on a business trip all week so I thought, hey why not knock it izzout today?

OHHHHEMMMMGEEEEE!!! I had NO idea about the treasure trove of memories (imeanbaddecisions) that lay throughout my room. Let me tell you what I found.

*ALL of my college graduation cards {cause I need to reread those}
~A poster I did in 8th grade showing my LIFE PLAN.
{I was retiring at 35, was gonna be a veterinarian, had twin girls and 4 houses...big dreamer over here}
*Tooooooooons and tons of OLD high school pictures
~A book where I saved RANDOM comics in and wrote a commentary {NERDALERT}
*ALL of my USA Women's Soccer team paraphernalia. {I created 2 posters after they won the World Cup on American soil...I think in 1998?}
~Posters and cards from college {so many memories there}

And then I came across these gems: Please Don't Judge Me!

**My HOT BOYS COLLAGE!**
{Devin Sawa, Jared Leto, JTT, Paul Walker, Leonardo DiCaprio}

**My Prince William Poster Collage**
{Like every other girl in America, I DREAMED of marrying him. Thanks a lot Kate!}

**My CD COLLECTION**
{Jessica Simpson, NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Mandy Moore, Britney Spears}
Can you say TeenyBopper?!?!
{Yes that is a Titanic CD cover...again DON'T JUDGE ME}

Wow, wow wow wow!

Oh the memories...anyone else want to share their shame today?!?!?

ps.com: Remember that Dog Snuggie I was talking about? Yeah, here's Miss Muffin sportin the p!nkness. She wouldn't look at me so I had to paparazzi her little hiney!

TGIFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!

And I'm doing a weekend recap?!?! Don’t judge me, work has been crazy and well, I’ve been lazy. The days are hazey…..okay I’ll stop.

This past weekend Le Beau {C} and I drove to his home town to pick up his apartment essentials he has stored at his parents’ house. Quick side story so you don't think he's a deadbeat lazywazy kid. C was pretty much an AllStar baseball kid growing up, played in college and then was drafted into the minors. He played for 3ish years before he was released because of Tommy John surgery (waaaaay bummer). He moved around alot to different teams and then came out this way to be an college assistant baseball coach. He was renting rooms, not an apartment and he didn't need any of his college or first home necessities so he stored them with his parents {Who doesn't like to use free storage, not this girl}. So, now that he has HIS own place he needs his stuff...hence Operation Road Trip 2011.

C sweetly invited me to go and see his hometown for the first time and I was pretty excited to see where he grew up. I was NOT exited for a 9+ hour trip each way though. I have travel ADD and get bored really easily. C on the other hand drives all the time, solo, and is happy as a pig in mud driving with music and the windows down. I am an AC on windows up kind of girl. He loves to drive to country, I love rap/pop/hiphop. I LOVE TO TALK....he is quiet. You see why I might have been a llllleeeeeeetlle bit anxious?!?!?

We hoped in the car Friday morning and drove the day away through these states:

I have never been to Ohio and all I can say is man is that place flat. Not much to look at out the window. Thank goodness for sudoku, crossword puzzles, C and books books books.

oh and side note:
**I WILL NEVER TRAVEL THAT FAR IN A TRUCK AGAIN**

We arrived to his home Friday night and we were welcomed with a feast! His mom is an amazing cook {and uber tiny. Like, tinier than me and I'm mayjahly petite}. After dinner it was time to just hang out, eat cake, go through his things and of course watch some of this!

SOOO happy they love the BIG H like I do. After some TV time it was bedtime for this girl cause I was drained. {Sidenote #2: C’s parents had us stay in the same room, which really surprised me. I guess that’s the difference between having boys vs girls?!?!? All I know is until I am married Mama B and Daddy will make sure my BF and I stay in separate rooms. Thoughts from anyone??!?!?}

Saturday we got up to an amazing breakfast a la Miss Mama C and got ready to tackle the day. C’s cousin was playing in a Little League Baseball game so we headed out there before meeting his family at his aunt’s house. {Yeah, basically his WHOLE FAMILY –Mother and Father’s side – Lives in his hometown. For rizzle-rizzle! His grandfather went to his high school… old school}.

This was my first ever Little League game and I showed up in....wedges!!! Yep, you can take the city girl out of the city...hahaha! I didn't want to wear flips cause well, I'm short and didn't want to look tiny next to his family. After 3 innings of the game we headed to another field where his OTHER cousin (so.much.family!) was playing a game and his {gulp} grandparent's were watching. I was so nervous to meet the grandmother because she is the matriarch of the family and if she doesn't like you, well you are SOL! {Being protestant I think I already have a strike against me, since his whole family is catholic, but she doesn't need to know that yet} I think I was able to charm her though, fingers crossed.

We left the games and headed to his aunts house for some glorious food and pool time! The water was chilly but the sun felt oh so good! And did I mention there were Margaritas and wine, YUM-O!

Sunday morning we got up, packed up and headed back home....well after a slight detour back to his aunt's house cause I left my Ralph Lauren sunglasses. Awesome impression right?!!?? UGH!

The ride home wasn't too bad, we stopped for some outlet shopping and C was in a really talkative slash goofy mood which I thoroughly enjoyed. The last 2 hours were tiring but I just had him tell me his baseball life story so he wouldn't get tired.

We got home and immediately passed out. 18 hours in the car in 3 days will do that to you. Monday was spent moving his stuff from my place to his new apartment and I got some family time at the pool and at a cook out. All in all a super busy but fun weekend. Looking forward to the nice relaxing one I have planned coming up.

Happy Friday loves!

Pet Peeeeeeves and OMGSssss

Holy Guacamole, my pet peeve-o-meter is on OVERDRIVE here at work. For rizzy! Things have really ramped up in the production world and my group's numbers for the end of the year has DOUBLED! (Wish I could get into my thoughts on THAT but I kind of need my job). Needless to say things are a little more stressful here at work and there is A LOT of focus on my group, which means a lot of focus on my manager. Who normally is stressed and a little OCD about things, but now she is at MACH 2304830248 bazillion! Serious MICROMANAGING MODE! And it's driving me bananas (just sang the GWEN stefani song in my head...good lawd)

Seriously, it's THAT bad! Sending emails every hour...IMs all the time. Double checking my work when I say I've done it. SERRRIOUSLY, I'm going to tell you it's DONE and you DON'T BELIEVE ME!?!?!? REALLY!?!? Ugh, please stop it. And for the the love of pete at least have the nerve to ask me the real question instead of passively aggressively asking what I have planned to do today. If you give me a job....I'LL DO IT! And if I have a questions, I'LL ask you. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get your hands outta my work kitchen and stay away...

Anyone else feel the same??!?!?!
Okay, rant over and moving on to the OMG! C and I were doing a little shopping for our places at TJ MAXX and LOOK at what I found in the clearance aisle.

A DOG SNUGGIE...WTH and get outta town with that nonsense. So of course I had to get it for one of Mama B's dogs.

She has two (they were her mother's but when she passed away {bazillion sadface} Mama B brought them to live with us) a mother and son. They are mini Schnauzer's and are sweet most of the time but Mama B spoils them rotten. As in, "the dog bit me for no reason" and she says "well you were in her way" (SUURIOUSLY?!?!). Anyway, Alpha dog (the lil grey one) is about 9 pounds, although she thinks she's 200, and is always shivering, so hopefully the Snuggie will alleviate this problem.

{Alpha and Beta}

{They don't really like the camera} Happy Thursday !!!
