Christmas Link Up

OH, hey there December. Last week was rough, but I'm doing my best to shake it off and really get into the Christmas spirit. I have my posts ready for this week so please come back and read them. Thank you again for your very kind words last week, they meant more than you know.

Today I'm participating in a fun Christmas linkup, it was so fun to reminisce.

  1. LOL I love that we answered exact opposite on the clear vs colored lights question. I said clear outside, color on tree. Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend.

  2. We always traveled until kid #3 came along and we finally put our foot down. I love having my family together on Christmas morning and will treasure as long as I can. Christmas cards are my fave too! Have a super week!

  5. I'm thinking you need to share this hot cocoa recipe. I tried to make one last year and it was a big fat fail. lol. I love being home for Christmas... and we're hosting this year... so I'm totally stoked for that. I've got to take those wins when I can. ;) First married Christmas was one of my favorites, too!

  7. Yeah we made the rounds on Christmas day until our kids came along. With all of our (divorced and remarried) parents living nearby we often stopped at 3 4 places in one day! It was exhausting but something we did for our parents. But the first year we had our child I told everyone that I was not budging from our house for anything! They were all welcome to visit but I wanted to enjoy time at home... my oldest is now 13 and while we will occasionally venture out in the afternoon we still spend most of our day at home and I just love it.

  9. I'm very sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is and I find it to be even harder when it is the holiday time. To be honest, I find the holiday time but wonderful and sorrowful at the same time. Sending you big hugs.

  10. This linkup was so fun, though it did make me super nostalgic for Christmas when I was growing up. I love your answer for your best gift given and received- definitely not cheesy! Still thinking of you as you mourn the loss of your friend <3
