For Real? - A Confession Post

[source]
+ I used a work stamp for a personal letter because I ran out. #sorry

+ I had every intention of coming into this post guns blazing because someone I haven't talked to in four years decided they wanted to make drama. And I was THIS close to taking the bait. But then I realized pointing back and throwing accusations only perpetuated drama which is the last thing I PERSONALLY want or need in my life. Things are good here and whether or not they are good for her is none of my business, so why even chime in with chatter?

+ Someone stole my credit card information and my first thought when I received the email was 'Call Dad'. I'm a married 34 year old who owns a house and I STILL reached out to my dad. #adultingnope

+ Last week was a doozy of late nights and Thursday was a long one. So long I didn't get home until 10:15pm and still hadn't eaten dinner. So I heated up meal plan dish and ate it sitting on the floor because I was too tired to find the table.

+ Yesterday when I got in my car I realized my shirt had a prominent hole on the sleeve. I had the extra thirty seconds to go in and change but I didn't. I rolled up the sleeve and just went to work.

+ Through asking a question about a policy I ended up accidentally tattling on another instructor for teaching the new releases early. I caught her using the new music and would have kept my mouth shut, but I freaked out I needed to learn choreography earlier than expected. Luckily they had already heard about her launching early, but I still felt bad when I answered the questions asked.

+ Tomorrow I launch SPRINT and I haven't even looked at the release. #fakeittillimakeit

  2. LOL I would have done the same thing with the shirt. Who cares? And I had my CC stolen a few years ago and the first thing I did was call my dad too! <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes

  3. I can not tell you how many times I had to launch with the mentality "Fake it till I make it!" You totally got this!

Ironically my CC information got stolen last weekend and I had to deal with it. I still call my mom about things that I really should be able to handle myself and in all honesty CAN handle myself but why when I can ask mom to do it?!?! #AdultingSucks

  6. Nothing wrong with still calling your parents. I look at it as a blessing as I know a few people who have lost both parents at a young age. Heck, I still call my Grandmother when things get really bad. Nothing like a Grandmother to make things better. Hope everything gets sorted out and soon.

  7. Ha I used to mail all my personal stuff through work because why not? It's so much more convenient, because who has time to go to the post office?! Ugh adulting... the worst sometimes I tell ya <3

  8. I always think to call mom or dad when something goes wrong even though I usually just handle it myself, I still call and get advice.

  10. hahaha my first reaction whenever anything goes wrong is to call my dad! He lives hundreds of miles away, and I STILL call! A random light goes on? Call dad. Phone is beeping? Call dad. I don't think you're alone ;)

  11. I still call my dad too! Especially when insurance enrollment time rolls around at work! Good luck with getting it all straightened out.

  12. My bank account, not even CC has been comprised 3 times in last couple years so I know the feeling but I'm so thankful our bank has reimbursed us all the money "stolen". Such a pain in the butt! I don't blame ya for calling your Dad. Adulting still requires our parents advice and to help us through situations. xo

  13. Ugh. Drama is THE WORST. I'm so proud of you for avoiding it... and I had no idea there were dates for choreography release!! That's crazy (and fun)!! She should have waited!

  14. on the bright side, having your CC info stolen is better than having your debit card info stolen so there's that (since CCs can cover you/debit is direct access to your cash!).
